Definitely a dive bar. Depends on who is serving you will determine your service quality. Go during the day time and service is great. The burgers and pizza are good. The fries are the best I have had. Beer is cold and mixed drinks are strong. My favorite bar during the daytime hours!

Went there around 7:30pm before we went to watch the fireworks. We had a group of 4, never been there. Walked in, wasn’t acknowledged and just sat down. I noticed right away that the bartender/waitress was being extremely rude to customers. After 15-20 minutes of waiting, we had to walk up to the bar. The bartender/waitress was extremely rude to us after asking us what we wanted to drink and asked her if we could put some food in. She stated,” our kitchen is very backed up and we’re gonna be closing early to go see the fireworks, so do you want it to go?” in an extremely rude tone. We have been riding for hours and was willing to wait. During the time we waited for our food, I noticed the bartender/waitress was extremely friendly to the “regulars” but extremely rude to not only us but a couple sitting next to us. The bartender/waitress went to grab a kids highchair and one of our chairs was in the way and she just kept pushing it out of the way without even saying excuse me. Food was not good and we WILL NOT be going there again. Extremely rude service and the bartender/waitress needs to be fired. And by the reviews I read, she’s BEEN A PROBLEM. DO BETTER. Made us feel very unwelcome. Don’t waste your time or money at this place.

We stopped by here at closing time. We didn’t know but they had temporary hours at the time. Anyway they served us even though it would keep them longer. The service was amazing and the food delicious! This is definitely a 5 star place! Oh did I mention, they served us with a smile and did not make us feel rushed!

Stopped for one, the Buckhorn was packed so we tried Trout Lake Tavern. Friendly bartender, good drinks. 4 stars because it’s pretty rundown. We didn’t try any food so can’t speak to that. Places like this need our support to stay open or we’ll all just be going to Applebee’s someday.

Called ahead to order food and was told that they were too busy to take our order and we could just order when we get there. Get there to order food (4kids begging to eat after a long road trip) and I wait inside for 20 minutes and don’t even get acknowledged or even greeted. The bartender/waitress was too busy chit chatting with the people sitting at the bar.
