Kinda of a fun atmosphere but the food wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. Granted, I only had a simple breakfast of eggs, hashbrowns and Sourdough toast but it came out just above warm. Not hot. The hashbrowns were on the way to crunchy side even for me and not being hot they got less stars. Coffee was good. Service…could have been better.

Been going here since I was a kid. Good values, good food. If it’s not to your preference, just talk it out. Chances are though the foods perfect.
Now as for the food I eat here, I used to always get the sirloin but I was feeling the culture and decided to go with some reindeer. Rudolf was delicious. English muffin perfect.. potato’s crispy.. my friend got the homindays sauce with a custom order of no meat and it looked perfect. She ate it super fast.
Now my final part of the review I’ll focus on this innovative booth chair. Feel the preasure of being the poor guy who doesn’t get a both seat be gone…

I don’t understand the low rating. The trout house has great food and friendly service. Good coffee too! Lol. I had to laugh at some of the comments from people. Like disappointed because the gravy was not homemade and the place needed updating??

The trout house is one of those places that if you’re in the mood for breakfast food from that old classic diner feel that you will almost certainly leave satisfied. Every time my wife and I come here we get the chicken fried steak because it is excellent! The staff is extremely friendly and as long as I’ve been coming here it feels like every time I return not a day has passed!

My favorite breakfast spot in the mat Su valley hands down. You can get breakfast till 5PM. Servers are always friendly , seldom do you have to send anything back. I’ve tried lots on their menu over the years and it’s all good. Even if the parking lot looks full there is still plenty of seating. By far the best breakfast in the valley
