I walked and i was greeted very nicely by the gentleman as he was working. Placed my order and sat on the little couch they have there. I have lived in national city for 38 years and never seen this place. I usually drive out to spring valley for tostilocos. But saw this popped up on my phone. They were quick, and he repeated my special order ( tostilocos no jaimaca, add pineapple) handed me my order with a big smile and said have a great day. I said you too. ( this was all in spanish). No one rude here at all. Very nice people trying ro keep there doors open in this economy. The tostilocos were not bad. They just seemed to need alittle more chamoy, and flavor. But for under $10, it was good. We usually pay close to $16 out in spring valley, and sometimes that place is a hit and miss.
All in all, it was good. Next time i will ask for extra chamoy. Here are some pictures

I had a Torta that had pork in it that was so flavorful. The bread was super fresh too. I also had a fruit smoothie that was fresh and quenched my thirst. The owner Hector is friendly and welcoming. He went over the menu with me and helped me decide on what to get. I highly recommend this place.

I really liked everything I’ve tried so far. The comments about rude employees, there’s some truth to that, but they make some really good food! The vegetarian sandwich was very good. I’ll be back for that. In all fairness, I’ve seen them get yelled at by customers and their bosses! ☹
