I walked in last night , and I didn’t want to leave . A family oriented establishment with great food , an amazing bar , and music that made me wanna dance. I placed a to go order asked for curry goat with white rice, my man went to pick it up & when I got home to eat the food, I saw I got oxtail instead. I DO NOT EAT OXTAIL. Couldn’t do anything cause the restaurant was already closed. My man got peppersteak he said it was too sweet & the food wasn’t even filling. $50 for the wrong meal and the other didn’t taste right.
Whoever you have taking orders over the phone needs to pay attention. Waste of time & money.

Food was good / okay, but the restaurant has a 20% tip automatically added to the bill regardless of the party size, even just for 1 person. Then on top of that, they still have the option on their portable credit card machine to select tip amount for additional tip without mention “additional tip”. Be very careful with the trick they play.

There is no way that this place should charge so much. I tried the Jerk Chicken and it was absolutely HORRIBLE. Hands down the WORST I’ve ever had. The Chicken was as tough as the neighborhood!!! Everything was either overcooked or undercooked. I had a Chicken Leg that looked like a Turkey Leg. The Chicken Leg was HUGE!!! For all I know it was a Pterodactyl Leg. Save your money. Go to Carrena’s or Jamaica House instead. They should be paying customers to eat here!!!

I will have to say after eating at various Caribbean food spots and eating this food growing up from a Jamaican family that’s like my 2nd family this is the real deal and very good. Definitely on point with taste and portions. They are also very friendly and down to earth. Give them a try they won’t disappoint.

Ordered lamb chops and girlfriend order the fry chicken. Lamb chops gave me food poisoning, haven’t stayed out the bathroom for the last 12 hours. Girlfriends fry chicken was made wrong asked for no cabbage and no gravy, came covered with cabbage and smothered in gravy. I’ll never eat here again.

The food is very good. BUT my biggest complaint is the chicken soup..The soup is one of the best I tasted but I don’t understand how the people serve soup and no chicken in da soup..bare vegetables and dumplins. Chef must make sure chicken in the soup. This is the second time. Otherwise customer service is wonderful

Food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good. It definitely was not worth 1499 for a small curry chicken. The cocoa bread was hard on the ends. There wasn’t hardly any meat on the bones of the chicken and it was dry. I mean there was no gravy no comparison to Jamaica House. At Jamaica house but what I paid for one curry chicken I can get two small curry chicken and it’s a way better flavor and taste
