I recently dined at Tropics Grille, and it was an extraordinary experience. The food was exceptional—especially the lamb lollipops, which were tender and flavorful. The salmon was fresh and perfectly seasoned, while the chicken parmesan was a delicious classic.

The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who provided great recommendations. The wine selection was impressive, and we enjoyed a bottle that paired beautifully with our meal.

I love this place and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

Just had Christmas dinner last night 4pm. Nothing like last year. There were 4 of us and we all had dinner last year and decided to come back. The must have a new chef, the food was very mediocre. Two had Turkey dinner, which they eat half of. I had the ham with so many raisins. The green beans were okay. One of us had the lamb and enjoyed it. Caesar salads were chopped so much and not very favorable. Our server was Javier and very nice. I don’t think we will be back next Christmas. The menu was so Thanksgiving. Which we came to and enjoyed. I know the clientele is older but we need better food and presentation. Of course we would pay more if it were good.

I’m an 80 year old Veteran and long time Tropics customer. My partner and I were attacked and Spit On by an unruly Patron on a Friday night and Tropics owner Khan Brashir was present and did nothing.
What happened was this creep, who we later learned is named Marco, stormed through a crowd and shoved into the back of another man and wine was spilled all over me. We didn’t know either person as we had just happened to be passing by the bar but they started getting into a physical fight. The following Friday, this Marco came up to me and pretended to apologize for the previous week but then he suddenly tried to start a fight with my Partner as he turned and shoved him in the face. The idiot started yelling at us as he mistakenly thought my Partner was the person he got into a fight with the week before and he wanted to resume the fight. Marco then disgustingly Spit on us. What a Cowardly Act and who knows what disease he has???? Then he shoved me and cowardly ran to the safety of his friends and kept yelling at us and calling us names. We stopped a member of the Staff who then witnessed him Spit again at us and kick my Partner in the shin. The Staff member told him to quit or he’d be thrown out and he got the Owner, Khan Brashier. Khan pretended to be nice and assured us they would throw Marco out of the Restaurant. However, Khan did nothing and 5 minutes later we saw him patting Marco on the shoulder and kissing him on the cheek. A few minutes after that we were further subjected to taunts and name calling from across the room by Marco and his friend.
We filed a Police report but Tropics would not assist by providing the surveillance video. The Police didn’t help at all even though there is a Wilton Manors Police Detective there every Friday at one of the reserved tables. I’ve known Khan for many years and thought he was a man of character but showed that he is just a 2-faced Liar. Disgusting that he’d allow an elderly man and his Partner to be attacked in his establishment by some Low Life.
We have been loyal Customers for 20 years but there are better places to go on the Drive than tired, old Tropics. The food, the service and the quality of the customers has gone downhill ever since Khan Brashier purchased Tropics. Sucks cause we love the Bartenders. Sad.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ UNREAL SERVICE & AN UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tonight at The Tropics in Wilton Manors was nothing short of magical, and Cody, our server, was the absolute STAR of the show. From the moment we sat down, Cody delivered next-level service—attentive without hovering, fun without being overbearing, and genuinely made us feel like VIPs all night long. Drinks were always full, timing was perfect, and his energy matched the vibe flawlessly. Honestly, Cody is the kind of server you come back for.

As if that wasn’t enough, we were treated to an incredible night of live entertainment. Victor singing was phenomenal—powerful, emotional, and captivating—and Rick on the piano absolutely crushed it. The talent in that room tonight was unreal. The music, the atmosphere, the crowd—it all came together perfectly.

The Tropics nailed it tonight: amazing service, incredible live music, and a vibrant, welcoming energy that makes Wilton Manors special. Huge shoutout to Cody, Victor, and Rick for making this a night we’ll be talking about for a long time.

Do not miss this place. Do not miss this team. We’ll be back—again and again. ✨

7pm reservations 10/18/25.
Service was excellent,
Waitor was tall dark handsome and obviously professional courteous, my apologies for not remembering his name, because he really is good at his job. My evening was table of 8. Everyone arrived casually. Was a birthday night for Hector my husband. The waitor , I apologize for not remembering his name which is unlike me I guess I had a lot going on that night. we had was prompt , polite and considerate to everyone’s needs. We had a vegan , a vegetarian, couple that only wanted dessert, meat eaters, fish only, … offering suggestions and just being helpful to guests with such variety is not easy. I ate the sirloin steak dinner which was great and coconut shrimp which I enjoyed . The entertainment was singer with incredible voice, friendly , handsome Tony ( not sure of last name sorry), the pianist was Ricky, another handsome fella whose good with his man hands ..who knows how to tickle those ivories so well… and works well with others.

I just wrote this review let you know your waitor is exceptional. From what I remember him saying he was handling more than our table at the same time …( I hope you can figure out who it was , give him our sincere thank you. Please consider his excellent service when giving him opportunities and money. I a m sorry I failed at remembering his name. It’s prob on receipts or something, everyone including the front end person were just wonderful . Thank you .

1/2 price night and still too much to pay for the lousy food I was served. Black Angus steak tasted like cafeteria beef. Unseasoned overcooked vegetables and mash potatoes that were nursing home tasting and appearance. Much better places to spend your $$$. Waiter was polite but repeatedly apologized for disappearing due to number of tables he had, IMO, stay away. Oh, it was pick and choose what tables received bread, we were selected to receive none

Extremely slow service on a slow night. Salad had wilted lettuce, french fries were reheated/double fried. For the price I expected much better. Decor was okay and live music gave good ambience. I wouldn’t return here again or recommend.

Beautiful restaurant. The food is prepared to perfection. Casual but elegant. Perfect place for dinner with your special someone. We went for a belated Valentine’s dinner. We arrived about 10 minutes past the cutoff for the kitchen but they were gracious enough to accommodate us. We were the only ones dining so we ordered quickly and it came out quickly. It was the best meal I had in months and the bill didn’t require a 2nd mortgage

Had to change my review because of recent experiences, last night being the worst. We arrived to a table with dirty silverware, and hard chewing gum on a bread plate. Service from some staff is abysmally inattentive and slow. Everyone at our table was disappointed with the quality of the food, and some people didn’t even get what they ordered. One of the burgers was a quarter-inch frozen patty, which for the prices they charge is outrageous. Waiters were hanging out at the bar talking to bartenders while our table was full of empty drinks. Overall the food service was something to be embarrassed of, and it has gotten worse recently.
I will say the entertainment is great, and many of the bartenders are very nice. I could see myself sitting at the bar and watching a performer, but I won’t return for food here. The food service is a real disappointment.

The night started by a staff member named Shawn who was super courteous and sweet (and handsome too) by holding the door open for my friends and I as we entered Tropics. We went for a show (Holly Faris) who was just magnificent and so entertaining‼️ Our server Muhammad was superb and just so attentive and may I say gorgeous too‼️ The food was outstanding and all of us enjoyed whatever we ordered and I was thoroughly impressed with the restaurant and staff who we interacted with‼️
