We had a pleasant breakfast at Tropical in Orlando. The Chocolate Pancakes and the Breakfast Taco Bowl were both delicious and well-prepared. The atmosphere is very clean and quiet, making it a solid choice for families looking for a relaxed meal.
The staff was incredibly friendly and the service was prompt. However, be prepared for the price tag. Side items like home fries and bacon are over $5 each, which adds up quickly. Also, note that they automatically include an 18% “service fee” (gratuity) on the bill, regardless of party size. It’s a nice spot, but definitely on the expensive side for breakfast.

Went here for breakfast buffet on a Saturday morning and it was busy. Guests seem confused they can order off menu or do the buffet which delayed seating. All of your beverage choices should be included in the $26 buffet price including lattes. My server explained the latte would be extra so I declined it. Kinda frustrating because mobile ordering at Starbucks upstairs was 47-50 min wait. The omelette form is confusing to follow asking for too much info, it should just ask name as I have no idea my table number and they weren’t hand delivering these to tables anyways. The food overall was good, the chocolate muffin I had was dry.

Very cute and cozy restaurant. A warm morning feel. The waitresses and other staff are very kind. Cleaned plates quickly and checked in regularly.
I went two days. The first day, I did a la carte. I got the steak, eggs, and potatoes. It was pretty good. The eggs are a little plain, but nothing some salt and pepper can’t help. The steak was tender but thin. The potatoes were amazing. Fresh, crispy, and seasoned. It was about $27, so it was fairly priced. I would get it again.
The second day, I tried the buffet. It has some pretty decent choices. Lots of fruit choices. Pancakes were a little dry. Omelet was good. Potatoes are not as good as the a la carte. It was about 30 per person a little more with the service charge. Would I recommend it? Probably not because the price didn’t match the quality.

I had an amazing experience! The Floridian Stuffed French toast is everything!!! The staff is also very nice, fruit was sweet, they could work on the grits to make them more creamy. I’d go back once a week for breakfast if I could. People complain about prices but this IS on a resort.

This place has but only one job, serve breakfast. Yes, it did that but the quality was, at best, mediocre. I ordered the French toast with bacon. The food came out lukewarm, the waitress had a chip on her shoulders and it took forever to even be addressed. I would never come here again.
