Definitely NOT a sit down restaurant- yes there are tables but the employees didn’t seem to know how wait a table. They do have a take out counter though. I could get past the dark, dingy decor if the food was good. Twas not. We got the goat – Tassot cabrit. It was over cooked, which made is chewy and tough; no flavor at all. Also ordered drinks that never came. Music was too loud – couldn’t hear the person sitting next to me. Not the date night restaurant I was expecting

This is one of the best (if not the best) Haitian restaurants in Indianapolis. The inside is welcoming and clean. I had the fried fish yesterday and it was absolutely divine. I came back again today to try the fried turkey which was ALSO a 10/10! Everything is always flavorful and fresh. The star of the show is the black rice, which is the most authentic I’ve had in the city. I will be back to taste the rest of the menu

I went to Tropical Taste for the first time and really loved it! The food was delicious and full of that real Caribbean flavor, it reminded me of my home country. The people were so nice and welcoming, and the service was great. Prices are also very good. I’ll definitely be going back!

Nice place, super clean, the food was great. Best Haitian food I’ve had in a restaurant in a while. The Pate kòde was so big. The jus kowosòl was everything. I also had some taso labor (Goat Stew). I’ll go there again whenever I’m in Indiana.
