My girlfriend and I came here to try out the new Sand Springs location. I didn’t remember if we have ever had Tropical Smoothie cafe before. This location was very clean and modern. It’s also in a great location. Our smoothies were both very tasty. I got one with strawberry, pineapple and banana and it was everything I hoped for. My only complaint is that the employees seemed like some young kids who didn’t have very good customer service skills. They didn’t treat us badly or anything, they just seemed unskilled. My girlfriend got a quesadilla and they forgot her salsa she wanted and we had to get up and go ask for it. Overall, not a big deal just some things they need to improve upon and once time goes on I’m sure things will get better. Also I feel like the prices are inflated for what you get. There seems to just be one price and one size of smoothie unless I’m mistaken. It’s a large smoothie but for basically $7 each I just don’t know if it’s the best value. If you have the money and want a great tasting smoothie I would say try this place out for sure.

Don’t get a smoothie at this location. You’ll pay $10 for slushed ice. Hardly any actual fruit in it and you can’t even drink more than half of it. The other half of ice you can eat with a spoon but there is no flavor whatsoever.

Here’s how to make a negative experience a positive one: I placed my order through the app and left my apartment ten minutes later. Took me four minutes to get to the Cafe. As I sat waiting, I realized they’re doing all the drive-thru orders first. Probably because they have a time quota to meet or because drive-thru waiting angers people. So after five minutes inside, I said, “What a great opportunity to read further into my novel.” And got my book from the car and was allowed ten more minutes of quality reading time. When I finally got my watermelon smoothie, I walked out and thought ‘Three star review.’ But then the smoothie was wonderful, and I did get to read my lovely horror novel for ten minutes. (Okay, I did rate four stars instead of five because that was a LONG wait)

Food and service are wonderful and I recommend coming here, other than a couple of instances. The one time I had an issue was with the pina colada smoothie. I ordered it without banana and with lime however the server named Brooklyn M who made it must have ignored the sticker on the cup as the only thing I tasted was banana along with chuncks of it. Not the end of the world but I was annoyed at 8 dollars for something gross and the potential allergie issues that would come with ignored substitutions.

Took 30 minutes to get our food, pulled Up to the window and they didn’t even know we ordered anything then got our order wrong after telling them very clearly what we wanted. Seems like everybody else is having to wait. Long periods of time to their staff is just slow.

The employees were very pleasant. And the food was so good. I had the jerk chicken wrap, spicy, but amazing! The Baja was just as good and the jalapeno corn was a spicy symphony of deliciousness. The sunrise smoothie was simply wonderful. It had a smooth fruity flavor that made my taste buds super happy.

Went to tropical smoothie 6/27 ordered a chicken PETSO flatbread and got absolutely no pesto. Ordered a 3 cheese Chicken quesadilla and there were onions on it? Terrible service tonight. Super disappointed.
