I ordered a three cheese quesadilla and smoothie. The quesadilla was dry with hardly any cheese…for $7. Had the manager (Sarah) to tell me it’s not her problem because corporate told her to use 6 tablespoons. ♀️ I can’t confirm if that is what they said or if she even did that but the food and the service is not worth your time or money. She was very rude and even hollered something at me as I left. Just completely unprofessional. I have ordered this same order from this establishment in at least 4 different states and never had this experience with the staff especially or the food. I wanted so bad to be happy about having one close but I won’t be back.

I’ve been to the Gonzales- Highway 30 location a handful of times and have ordered a variety of things off the menu such as the three cheese chicken quessadillas, chicken bacon ranch flatbread, chicken pesto flat bread, Bahama momma smoothie, acai bowl, paradise point smoothie. I absolutely enjoyed everything I’ve had and the employees are always prompt, responsive, polite, and helpful. highly recommend

Service was terrible and the food was made very poorly. I ordered what I get every single time at different locations that always tastes great and my bowl was half way full, barely anything to it, and no sauce I had to ask for it after I sat down. When I ordered, I asked for a wrap but put in a bowl and he almost told me no to doing it even though I know they can because, again, I get it very often. His words were “uhhh I don’t think I can. I mean I could it’s just difficult”. My mom’s bowl was the exact same way. I’m very upset about this experience and will not be returning to this location.

The smoothie was solid and about what I expected price wise. I walked in and two of the staff were sitting down. Its slow so I understand.
I sat there for a minute drinking my smoothie and then told them to have a great day as I left. I received blank stares. The whole interaction was cold.
Overall it seems like I was an inconvenience to them and they would rather I not have came in.

This location SUCKS!! Seriously some of the worst service I’ve seen in a while. Just walked out of this location (this time actually without any food) because this was the THIRD time in a row where i have walked in to pick up my food and it wasn’t ready even though I ALWAYS order 15-20 minutes prior. And mind you I ONLY get a PB flatbread crunch. THATS IT. You walk in and it takes so long for someone to decide to acknowledge you and then when they finally look at you and you tell them what they want it takes them another 15 minutes to get to it. Last time i went in they didn’t even start making my food UNTIL i walked in. What is the point in mobile ordering if it isn’t ready ahead of time???? And I could understand if they were busy but I go to tropical pretty often and EVERY time i go there’s barely a car in the parking lot or an order on the screen. This is just absolutely ridiculous. Other people have jobs too and don’t have time to spend damn near 30 minutes waiting on some granola and peanut butter. Oh and don’t order from the drive thru because it takes them 10 minutes to actually come and take your order and then another 15 for them to make it!!

The smoothies are great, my parents loved the mocha madness smoothie, and I got the peanut butter cup. The only thing that I was disappointed in was that in my peanut butter cup it was just chocolate and banana which on it’s own was good, I just was looking forward to the peanut butter part in it.

Ok so whoever worked register on Thursday January 1st, 2026 at 2 pm was zooted out of his mind I think. He gave my friend a smoothie bowl and it was totally melted and I asked if he could like remake it and he basically said no because the açaí was frozen. Also coincidentally her quesadilla was NOT melted inside so yeah. We showed it to the guy making smoothies and he laughed out loud. Like it was crazy. Honestly just please tell the guy on register something because I’m reading the reviews and I’m seeing patterns, just like incompetent i think. Also there’s a fly that’s pissing me off.

Anytime I think “I need something quick but I want something healthy” Tropical Smoothie Cafe is my first option. I love the Santa Fe Chicken Quesadilla and I have to have my sweet potatoes.

Ordered food online for pick up. When I arrived both girls had no clue how to make the chipotle flatbread sandwich. They also could not figure out how to give me a refund. They called their manager and he made the sandwich. This is a crazy way to do busy.
