Usually we enjoy getting smoothies here and sometimes food. I’ve had a couple kinda frustrating experiences, including today and a year ago for the same issue. My birthday falls on a holiday and the place is always closed. So when I get an email saying I get a free smoothie on my birthday, I should be able to get it, even though it isn’t technically on my birthday. (Other places always understand this and have NEVER had a problem elsewhere) They have given me a hard time these past 2 years about this!! Hello…. you’re CLOSED on my birthday. I feel like they really could care less then about my business if they won’t honor this. I have tons of points from this place as we go there often. I should say that when they tell me they can’t give me my smoothie, I always tell them that I did try on my birthday, but they were closed. Eventually a manager comes and does give me it but the first girl is so rude about it. Just frustrating. Makes me never want to come back. It’s just the Grand Forks place. Have had good luck with Fargo!

We love supper or a quick lunch from Tropical Smoothie. Everyone gets what they want and we can count on it being mostly healthy for the family. I did mark 3/5 on the atmosphere because the tables are either sticky/dirty or the sun is shining so bright that you can’t hardly see your food or the people with you.

I saw this place while waiting for a stop sign. Today I tried it out oh my word not sure what I wanted. They asked me what were my favorite fruits. I said, pomegranate cranberries so they paired me with a pomegranate plunge and to shave the edge on the calories, you can use Splenda. You still have a nice tart taste of the cranberries and pomegranates just pop out and there were some some other fruits in there. These are the ones that I remember. But don’t take my word for it. Go try it yourself. When you arrive, you find this building resembling a beachfront juice it’s not very big will totally draw you in. You open the door when you feel like you have found the vacation in the middle of the city. The chairs are metal but painted beachside blue and the coral that just pops your imagination. I have beachside music that you may have heard flowing down the way these bright colors aremelting your stress away there’s tiling along the side. You truly have found an oasis to call your own but wait is that not beach sidewalk maybe a boardwalk perhaps again don’t take my word for go experience it yourself. Enjoy. I know I did.

My smoothie bowl wasn’t even filled to the top. If I’m paying $10 for a smoothie bowl, it should be filled. There were multiple employees and none of them were working. It took them forever to make my smoothie bowl.

I enjoy Tropical Smoothie but the employees not so much. Today my friend and I went in and ordered 2 smoothies. Mind you there were PLENTY of employees, so our 2 smoothies shouldn’t have taken long. If the MULTIPLE spray tan dummies worked as much as they talked, there would be no problem! Not to mention my friend and I were seated right at the counter and they stood talking doing absolutely no work, RIGHT INFRONT OF US. The only employee doing work was making food and oddly enough someone not even in uniform was making a smoothie faster than the girls on the shift. Not sure if they just didn’t care, or are poorly trained 🙂

Was in there Sunday at 1pm. Food was fine. Workers not so much. One worker with sleek brunette hair and small gold hoop earrings was clearly upset she had customers to attend to. Being another industry worker, I get it’s frustrating. But to clearly be mouthing words about people coming in to eat and saying that you just want to go home is kinda lame. I’m not expecting someone to be all happy and stuff to be at work. But making sure people see you’re visibly upset kind of ruins the atmosphere. Like, girl chill it’s your job. You will be able to go home.
