Tried to go here a few times over the last 12 months , but each time despite being the only customer to be there , the customer service is quite literally non existent. You walk in and can see the employees on their phones in fact often times moving further to the back , no greeting , no hello , no well be with you in a moment , no we appreciate your business, nothing just standing in the back on the phones while the customer waits at the counter even a friendly greeting would go a long way.
Customer service can make or break a business and is more important than the food or cost .
Unfortunately i won’t be giving this location any more trys unless there is a major overhaul in customer service.

Was greeted as soon as I pulled through the drive through which was nice, as I arrived to the pickup window it took them 12 minutes to even greet me so I could pay for my food mind you I was the only person in the drive thru line and the parking lot was empty. Service has seriously gone downhill at this location. I think the teenagers would rather play on their phones in the back then greet customers. I don’t mind waiting for my food, as to be expected when getting tropical smoothie. But waiting 12 minutes to even pay when there’s no other customers is actually ridiculous

Pregnancy cravings hit hard so I went to our local Tropical Smoothie. Ordered in the drive through and card was declined!! I pulled out front because my card had expired and I hadn’t activated the new one. I could not get my bank app to work and nothing was letting me activate this new card. I walked in to let the employees know I unfortunately did not have a way to pay, they said it was all okay and gave me my smoothies anyway!!!!!!! I cried. In a world where customer service is dying, you not only did an amazing job, you made an emotionally fragile pregnant lady’s week.

The one in petoskey and gaylord have excellent food and the staff is great in gaylord but the night staff in petoskey has not terrible but bad customer service no smiles and messed up our order twice. now this is the 3rd time petoskey has messed our order up what did I do? Today 3/8/26 dry wraps no sauce. Done with petoskey I know I come in chipper and polite. Sad to be treated like this.

Great food, great service and very clean inside. The employees were super friendly and were fun and upbeat. You could tell they enjoyed working and wanted the best guest experience for their customers! I will be back to try more food! The chicken bacon ranch Flatbread was great. Looking forward to trying one of their grilled cheese next time.

I was there last night around 7:30 ish and I ordered two flatbreads, one of those flatbreads being the pb banana crunch flatbread…..first off I was the only one in line and I waited at the window for 15 minutes before anyone came to the window to take my money, and then the brunette girl who gave me the order took my cash and gave me my food as if I was bothering HER. It didn’t end there though, I get down to the park with my friend to eat our stuff and her pb banana crunch flatbread had been completely thrown together and the “crunchy” pieces looked like they had just taken it in handfuls and just throw it on the thing to be mean or something. Will not be coming back that was a MISTAKE.

Ordered a few things from here this weekend and every single thing was fantastic! Photo worthy even and just as delicious. Love this place.

Everything was excellent! The food was great. I got the jerk chicken wrap and it was delicious. I also got the new ohana smoothie and it was good. The service was faster than usual, usually the drive thru has a long waiting time. The only thing that I suggest is for the cashier to ask if we have any rewards to use. It’s a nice reminder. Especially because we earn our rewards that way too. Which makes people come back.

Complete lack of work ethic, only due to being “busy” inside they wouldn’t even take our order, told us to come back that she wouldn’t be able to get to our order for a while. This is not the first time they have been too busy to even take an order. Never before have I experienced a restaurant just blatantly not take an order due to being busy. It’s fine for it to take time to make an order but to not even be willingly take an order all together and ask someone to come back is total unprofessional and if I was the business owner I would no longer have this person work for my company.

DO NOT GET IN THE DRIVE THROUGH LINE! In fact, stay away completely! Once you enter the drive-through line, you are stuck. No matter how long it takes, you cannot get out once another car is behind you. Last Saturday, I waited 15 minutes for a smoothie. It sat at the window for 5 minutes already made, but nobody was there to give it to me. I realized that only one person was working the entire store, so I felt bad. I went back on Tuesday and ordered a smoothie and a sandwich, thinking I would give it another chance. I had three cars in front of me. It took 38 minutes to get to the window! My groceries were melting, so I asked if the order was ready before I paid for it. She said, “Let me check.” She came back and told me that they were just getting started on my order! I saw at least three employees there. I said I had to go and to just forget the order. 40 minutes of wasted life in a line at Tropical Smoothie 🙁
