Went to tropical smoothie today April 26, 2025. I ordered a Bahama mama smoothie with extra white chocolate. I asked them to make it thick for me. Another thing I ordered was the three cheese chicken with salt and vinegar chips got home and noticed that the tomato basil sauce Was barely any in the container. Also, as you can see on the Photos, my three cheese chicken was just thrown in the cardboard box without the proper tissue holder underneath also was just cheese minus the chicken very disappointed in this location. I normally go to the location on 28th St. and Micheal in Wyoming Michigan but I decided to check out the one farther down 28th St.in Kentwood Michigan. The line was super long. The weight was horrible and my food was absolutely not prepared like it should have been. Tropical smoothie you have the potential to be great in this Location. I’m not sure why the servers are not serving the customers with grace and making sure the orders are properly prepare as they should be and another thing, the cashier would not allow me to use my points to get my discount. He said that they point machine wasn’t working so I wasn’t able to use my points. Also he said that my phone number wouldn’t work and wouldn’t allow me to use my points either which I think is absurd. I feel like he was being biased. He just didn’t want me to use my points, which is Very unacceptable!! But smoothie was made to perfection was very delicious

Very disappointed with my first time experience here. I ordered through the drive-thru a Caribbean jerk chicken wrap and went to take a bite of my food and it was freezing cold. The chicken was still frozen and beans were hard. Used up all my break time supporting this location and they can’t even answer the phone to make it right.

I’ve found there to be a lack of consistency at this Tropical Smoothie location. I will only ever order a peanut butter cup (I know, I like my sweets). Anyways, I absolutely freaking love it when it’s the dude with the glasses who assists me with my order but anytime it’s anyone different, my smoothies are off. Sometimes it the texture, sometimes it’s the taste. And sometimes it’s both. This morning is a specific example. I love the texture but the look and taste is meh. Like where’s the chocolate my dude? $10 for a peanut buttter cup without chocolate be nuts LITERALLY! Not to mention, the smug interaction was not very enlightening. I just wish more nice humans worked in food service.

Ordered my own food through doordash so it’d be ready sooner, watched them place my order in the cubby and unsurprisingly a major part of what I ordered needs an easy and simple container of salsa, which I noticed they failed to provide which was clearly stated on the order and comes WITH said meal?? I had to ask for what I paid for twice and got a severe death stare and attitude.

I made two orders from you guys today. I have been starving all day and have been working. When my first order arrived I was in the middle of helping a resident who had fallen. Instead of the driver leaving the food with our receptionist, he left. I called and called. I called the driver, DoorDash, and the restaurant and nobody answered. I saw the picture of the “delivered” food from the receipt and all that was shown was the drink and not the wrap. I went outside to get the drink and it was not there. I am not sure if the driver took it or what. I am/was desperate to eat because like I stated, I have not eaten anything all day long. I made a second order with the same items, drink and wrap. By some miracle the food gets here, the drink is fine, but someone explain to me why my wrap was cold. Not only that but I also had to split it myself only to see that there was cheese in it, which I don’t eat cheese…but after looking closer I realized that the hard white stuff was my RICE. My rice was/is uncooked and my food is cold. I am so so so upset. I wasted my money. Now I am out $46, and still starving. Please give me my refunds. I can not believe this service we have . The counter person taken orders is absolutely rediculous and he needs to be in training. Over charged by $4.89 I am not happy about it either. If you get a smoothie in traverse city it should be the same in Grand Rapids . Won’t be visiting this location again for sure .
