Wife ordered us two smoothies today via their mobile app. Arrive 10 mins after that and wait in-store another 15 mins. The total time isn’t even the issue, it’s that people arrived to place an in-store order for smoothie + made-to-order food and got theirs before me and a few other mobile orders. Just ridiculous. Turn off mobile order-ahead in your app if that’s how things operate at this location.

The app estimated 10 minutes for order pickup for 2 smoothies. I arrived at the quoted time, and the place was packed with people waiting. Another guest told me she had been waiting an hour. I waited another 15 minutes and then asked where my order was in the queue. They retrieved my order from a back kitchen counter along with other smoothies that should’ve been in the pickup area. Needless to say the smoothies were very runny and melting. The person next to me asked for a refund because she couldn’t wait any longer, and the worker said no one there was able to do that. I also heard rumblings that the manager up and left teenagers running the store on their own. I don’t know if that was accurate, but regardless, I would not go back to this location. It was a disaster.

Food is good. If you are watching calories or trying to eat healthy just beware because some of the smoothies and food items you can easily be at or over 1,000 calories. That being said I do enjoy their smoothies and it’s a tastier option.

Great Experience on a Friday early evening
Stopped into Tropical Smoothie on a busy Friday needing a quick, healthy pick-me-up — just a smoothie and a sandwich. I expected a bit of a wait due to the online and call-in orders already lined up. What really impressed me was how efficiently the team worked. Three young ladies behind the counter were absolutely hustling — organized, focused, and knocking out orders with speed and accuracy. Everything looked fresh and tasted great. As a baby boomer, I don’t always expect that level of fast-paced coordination, but they nailed it. Big kudos to that team — you made my quick stop a great experience.
I am very sorry I didn’t have the time to grab names.

I dropped my car off at Oxford and walked over here like a bum lol. I had heard of this place before but didn’t realize they have food too, not just smoothies. Kenna was super patient taking my order bc I asked about a million questions lol. I got the supergreen chicken wrap and açaí berry boost smoothie. Both were delicious. Fresh and filling, yet don’t leave you feeling gross after eating/drinking like some restaurants do. I definitely get why this company is expanding rapidly throughout the Cbus burbs!

This review is solely based on the experience I had this evening with a young girl with brunette hair. She was working the evening/night shift. I submitted a pickup order around 8:35pm fully aware that they close at 9pm. I arrived at 8:50pm to pick up my order that was already ready to go. When I walked in I was not greeted by anyone. In fact, the girl mentioned above, grabs my bag and hands it to me in an incredibly rude manner. I can tell she is upset so I thank her. She just looks at me and says nothing. I again say “thank you” and once again no response. I understand that they were in the process of closing but I did a pick up order that was already ready when I arrived and I planned on grabbing it and leaving well before 9pm. I find it incredibly unsatisfactory that I was treated in such a poor manner for no rational reasoning. I hope that this review serves as a reminder to treat people kindly and to complete necessary changes and/or training as needed/advised. Thank you.
