It’s been some time since we visited a tropical location, after a bad experience at one in AZ.
The staff here greeted me at the door and promptly took my order. I kept it safe ordering smoothies. I felt that the food was not always a safe bet at tropical smoothies. This location is new and looks great. Smoothies were fresh and delicious. Some new items on the menu so I’ll be back again.

I don’t know how to name it, it is a sandwich and wrap place with smoothies or it’s a smoothie place that serves sandwiches. Anyways, it’s a decent place, the service is good and friendly.

Years ago we tried Tropical Smoothie in SC, it was just okay, but we decided to try it here since it’s been several years. The first visit 3 days ago was good. Placed the order on the app, and everything was correct. The Bahama Bowl was delicious. My kiddos like their smoothies, but I tried each and didn’t care for either. Came today and had food and more smoothies. There were a couple communication errors, but eventually everything worked out. The hummus wrap was okay, but I don’t think hummus and avocado go well together. I love sweet potatos but these were just okay. I think they were supposed to be maple glazed and don’t seem to be glazed in anything. The smoothies are very icy based, more like icy’s than smoothies, but I think that’s something with the company not just this location.

I found the employees to be rude on two occasions, and they do not seem to listen to the customer. On the first visit I asked a redemption question, and the person cut me off assuming he knew what I was asking, but he was wrong. (He did eventually answer my question.) Then, when I placed a smoothie order, I wanted a customization that I had gotten before (nothing strange, just leaving out an ingredient, which is possible in the app), and the young woman said it was not possible. When I said I had before, she asked another employee and discovered she was wrong. She made the item, but did not apologize for her error. On the second visit, two of us went in to pick up app orders. After going back to our car, my friend decided he needed to use the restroom, so he went back inside. When he finished, two employees told him that the facilities are for customers only. When he explained that he had just picked up his order less than 5 minutes before that, they still said it did not matter. That is no way to treat customers, and we won’t be going back anytime soon.

Nice place for a healthier bite to eat. They can get a little backed up with all the online and in store orders but we have never waited more than 10 mins for our food.
