My first time here, I ordered the grilled chicken Caribbean Jerk wrap without cheese or rice, substituted carrots instead. With a side banana. Made fresh, it was spicier than I thought it would be but it was still very good. Would definitely go back for healthier options. They have acai bowls and I love those as well so that’s also a future option. I’m adding an addendum to this after doing a little research and learning that one grilled chicken Caribbean Jerk wrap has 1500 mg of sodium and 8 grams of saturated fat! That is absolutely unacceptable for something that is being passed off as healthy. I’m changing my rating to average because this is no better than a fast food restaurant when you have a single item on the menu that has that much salt and saturated fat! Very disappointing, won’t be back after all

I always stop for smoothies here, they are the BEST. I’ve only had the Baja Chicken wrap, pretty good! If the line is long it can be real slow, I always place my order on the app and it’s ready when I get there. Highly suggested to use the app!

This my second time eating at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Gadsden. Both times I ordered a quesadilla. The first time they forgot the sauce that goes with it. The second time they barely put anything in my quesadilla and they didn’t give me a fork for my side of corn. It’s called a three cheese quesadilla- I think they meant like three shreds of cheese. Worst Tropical Smoothie Cafe on the planet. This picture is the best piece of the quesadilla that I could show (still hardly anything in it) the other 3 pieces had practically nothing in them at all. Go to Tropical Smoothie and order the quesadillas if you want a $10 tortilla

I ordered an açaí bowl. I was sitting in the drive thru at the window and watched the girl who was making my açaí bowl drop a strawberry on the counter and then pick it back up and throw it back into my bowl, which I paid $14 for. Very gross and disappointing. It happened right in front of me, makes me wonder what are they doing with food that they think people can’t see them make. Also just a health violation in general. So sad that Gadsden finally gets a “healthier” fast food option and you can’t trust it.

I’ve never had such a disappointing experience at a cafe. I went in at 9:30 PM, just 30 minutes before closing, thinking I’d grab a quick snack. What I got instead was a completely ruined veggie hummus wrap that was supposed to have light ranch but was drenched in it—barely any rice or beans at all. I thought, okay, mistakes happen, so I decided to give them another shot and ordered the same wrap with NO ranch this time. What did I get? A wrap full of nothing but lettuce, hummus, and onions. That’s it. No care, no effort, just a sad, tasteless wrap with no protein.
When I mentioned how bad it was, all I got was laughter and zero apology. The staff couldn’t care less, and they even rushed me out at 9:56 PM, four minutes before they were supposed to close. No refund. No “sorry we messed up.” Just slamming doors and a complete lack of professionalism. To top it off, the group behind me came back with the same issues! Poor service and inaccurate orders. So yeah, if you’re thinking of coming here at night, don’t waste your time. It was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The only good wrap I had was when they first opened, and now I see why—this place is a joke in the evenings. I spent $25 (including tip) on food I couldn’t even eat. Totally unacceptable.

I really enjoy the food. Doubt I will go again because I despise counter service or drive through that the first thing they do is flip a tip screen at you for handing you your food. Guilting people into paying a tip for people to hand you food to try to increase wages for employees is quick way to lose my business

Went there for the first time. The service was awesome STEVEN helped me out so much explaining everything to me and told me about the probiotics in the smoothies. I am 21 years old and pre diabetic so I’ve been looking for healthy alternatives around Gadsden but there isn’t much. STEVEN was very helpful and even gave me a paper menu. Give this man a raise!
