Every time I go lately the smoothies are not blended all of the way. I also add extra fruit and pay for it but they leave it out. That has happened the last 3 times. Has gone down hill. 4 smoothies I ordered tonight with so many ice chunks can’t drink through the straw.

Love this new location on Winchester. Just discovered the Tropical Smoothie Cafe a month ago and we are already huge fans. So far the Bahama Mama and the Beach Bum are my favorite smoothies. The Smoothies are 24 ounces. Tonight we tried a Caribbean Jerk wrap and the chicken bacon ranch flatbread. Both were delicious and the Jerk sandwich was a generous portion. It’s a new location so it is very clean and well staffed.

This being a new location I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but I’ve been here 3 times since opening. Every time I wait over 20 minutes in the drive though for one or two drinks. That’s it. I love the store being near my house, it’s clean, and staff friendly. But I doubt I’ll come often because of the wait. There is no reason at all that customers should have to wait that long for their orders. I came inside on my 3rd visit and still has to wait way longer than I think needed. Over 15 minutes on one drink, just one nothing else. And that’s after waiting some time in the drive through, giving up, then coming inside. I came and asked for a grilled cheese just today, with just avocado. Well they charged me full sandwich which is ok but they only put just a taste of avocado… not even a thick layer. The guy who gave me the sandwich was laughing so hard saying enjoy! I didn’t know why he was so happy till I opened the sandwich. I thought that was messed up. They could have put more than what they did on that bread. They do that on purpose and thought it was hilarious. I won’t be back. Ain’t worth it.

Some of the best food I have ever seen delivered as fast food, I was dining in and I was very pleased by the quality and freshness of the food. Great atmosphere and vibe everything is very simplistic and chill.

They seem to keep getting worse. The smoothies tasted like blended up ice and water with almost no fruit flavor. The only reason I gave a 2 was because the service. Sad when your excited to have a TROPICAL SMOOTHIE and it tastes like ice water!

The food itself was fine. Issue was a long hair in my smoothie that was sticking out the lid too. When someone finally came to see why I was at the counter, she didn’t say anything and took it from me and started making another one. She brought the new one out and said here you go. No apologies, no anything, just “here you go”. When the food was brought to us, the girl (different from the one making that brought the smoothie) just set the food on the table and walked off. We had to figure out which plate went to each person at the table. My kid also had to go back to the counter to get chips that were not brought out with food. All this happened after adding $5 tip at checkout. Won’t be making that mistake again and won’t be going back to this location.

Yeah so two things..
Came in earlier to pick up a DoorDash, noticed that among the 4 employees working only one of them had gloves on (I assume he was doing prep in the back) I watched the girl making the food for my order assemble the order without gloves and then lick her fingers before putting the lid on the açaí bowl. Then there was another girl at the window and food area constantly touching her mouth and wiping her face with her hands.
Secondly, I had gone in there last year and ordered a smoothie then watched an employee scan my code and take my points. I used to work at a tropical smoothie cafe so seeing this behavior is INSANE. Absolutely do NOT eat here.
Edit: I also want to add, I came in the other day to get the watermelon mojito smoothie and it was brown and tasted sour.

Burned and hardly any meat and cheese. Terrible for almost $8 with no drink!! Do better!
