Of all the locations, i can’t see how this one is even open. Won’t take your order in the drive through until the person in front of you has been handed food. Then still takes 15 minutes from order to receiving food. Not very friendly staff. Food is generally burnt or put together terribly. As much as I love this place and how close the location is, I won’t be back. The folks at valleydale are the best and it is always a wonderful experience. It’s almost like no one cares about the homewood location.

Sat in the drive through for 25 minutes was not greeted once while I witnessed several people were served who pulled up after me inside… after 5 minutes I was told to wait and then waited and additional 20 with no response. Finally i decided to to go inside to several more people waiting.. this was the wrost drive through experience I’ve ever had.. do better.. went to smoothie king after longline and crowded inside.. was running smoothly.. Do better, Do better, do better!

I am sad to say as someone starting a health journey, how disappointing the service has been this past week for me. For 3 consecutive days ( at least) this location has been out of key ingredients for a promo smoothie( something I would have overlooked ). However, to make matters worse, on my last visit. I pulled up roughly 15 mins until close and the store open sign was lit. After pulling around to the drive thru, not only was I not greeted and left to wait, but the sign had conveniently been turned off after my leaving from being unanswered; it was 6 mins before close. I enjoy the smoothies here, but the lack of care is concerning.

This is by far the worst Tropical Smoothie around. There’s always a long wait in the drive through, food is sub par compared to the valleydale location. To top it all off today they sold me a smoothie, let me pay for it, then handed it to me and informed me they were out of straws. When I asked how am I supposed to drink the smoothie they replied by handing me a spoon. Training doesn’t fix this, this is incompetence and bad management from the owner.

I have been to many tropical smoothies and the service here is good and the food is good but the speed of which that occurs is abysmal. I have been to this location 3-4 times and it’s taken anywhere from 20-45 min to get my order. Also, I’d like to add the people in line in drive thru wait and wait and end up leaving to go somewhere else. Something need to be done to get things more on track at this specific location. I’m not one to give a bad review but I think this is an understandable situation.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service and lack of urgency at this location.
I placed an order online to save time during my lunch break. When I arrived, I was only then told that you were out of yogurt. I left with the rest of my order, but when I returned to my desk, I discovered my sandwich was completely wrong. I had to go back to the store to request a refund for the missing items.
Mistakes happen, but the way this situation was handled was unacceptable. There was no urgency, no apology, and no attempt to correct the issue promptly. I wasted my entire lunch break and left hungry.
This experience defeats the purpose of online ordering and reflects poorly on your commitment to customer satisfaction.

I tolerate this place because it’s the closest location to my job but the service at this place is more of a “miss” and a “hit”. Most of the time the employees appear that they are unhappy with their job or the environment as they wear it outwardly. I dealt with poorly written and generally unprofessional signage like “closed early for storm” or today “Drive thru only”. I placed an online order to pick up for convenience only to be met by the “drive thru only” sign and an extremely long wait time. I am writing this as I am sitting in the line waiting to pick up the smoothie I was charged and tipped for. Not sure if there is a staffing issue or what but if that’s the case, turn off online ordering rather than setting yourself up for unhappy customers. I’ve been coming to this location for years and legitimately feel that the owners clearly don’t really care about quality or service. But as I stated…I tolerate it, shame on me for continuously returning I guess.

Did a DoorDash order. They gave us two of the wrong kind of smoothies, were out of all chips, out of turkey so didn’t give us the sandwich we ordered and still charged us for sandwich, and gave us bruised uneatable bananas. Will not answer phone to make it right. Won’t be back.

Service was slow, with only one employee actually working while two others stood around in the back horse-playing. When I ordered, the person at the mic didn’t even recognize the smoothie I asked for — and it was on their own menu. This shows poor training and a serious lack of urgency. Not the level of service I expected.
