Original: To add to learning my dad having cancer and my wife getting rear ended by an unlicensed driver this Thanksgiving, the wraps keep getting smaller, and my order for goofed…
Why me… Just why. Is it too much to ask to read the order off a screen?
I went through the drive-thru gave them my name when asked and ordered a smoothie and a Santa Fe dilla. They told me that they were out of black beans, to which I said that was fine. There is usually Soo much more to make up for no black beans. So it wasn’t an issue for me. She asked me if I wanted a side and at first I said no. She gave me my total and I went to pull ahead until I realized that I could get the jalapeno corn as a side. So I called her back to the speaker with an ” excuse me, miss” and asked her if I could have a side to my meal. She asked me which one I would like to have, told me no problem and added it to my order.
As for having three cars in front of me all with made to order fresh food I believe I got through the line pretty quickly. She handed me my smoothie and quesadilla, when I went to check the bag the corn wasn’t in there. So I asked her about it, told her that it was an add-on afterwards and she quickly had it prepared. It wasn’t until after I had parked, that I realized the food wasn’t as great as the service. The Santa Fe quesadilla was very thin and flat an appearances. And the cheese had been squished out in the cooking process and was a burnt blob stop the parchment paper. Upon opening it, I got maybe all of 3 pieces of chicken, 4 huge slices of bell pepper. That was it, but I was so hungry- I scarfed it down. The corn was delicious third degree burns hot!! Not in spiciness but in temperature. I can barely hold the container. My smoothie however was seemingly perfect other than the occasional chunks of ice, I believe it wasn’t blended long enough but it was still yummy!
From my opinion, service was exceptional! The drive-through cashier was very professional and easy to talk to, in a great mood and it appeared like she loved her job!!
Which is just a breath of fresh air in the food industry, especially fast food!
