The service at Tropical smoothie is top notch! I am greeted so pleasantly! One gentleman greeted me once with songs, cheer and a smile, another young lady offered to open 30 minutes early for me, because I had gotten the time incorrect as when they opened, and I had been going daily due to a surgery I had , and the only thing I wanted to have was a Tropical smoothie. These employees are happy to be at work, serve with a smile and send you on your way happy! Thank you for great hospitality as well as my Banana Almond Smoothie, I am a regular customer now!

Honestly, very disappointing smoothies. For a smoothie and bowl place you think that you would have your smoothies on locked. So gritty and watery. If I pay $20 for two smoothies I hope they would at least be tasty. At least the size is large enough I guess.

My mother and I went through the drive-through, and when my mum was trying to order a mixed berry bowl but said a yogurt bowl and the server laughed at us??

We brushed it off, thinking the server was having a bad day or was just being mean, and then it took 15 minutes to get our food. We literally just ordered a yogurt and a wrap (again, we were in the drive-through line and no one was inside). After we got our food and we said thank you the person serving us laughed at us again?? 1/10 don’t recommend this location

Ordered 2 smoothies a kid size and a regular I literally waited 25min for 2 smoothies there was no line inside or outside. Smoothies tasted terrible not how they usually are made in the Fruitville location.

I went in line to order food and had to wait for 5 minutes whilst multiple employees were looking at me, attending to something else, and when finally my order was taken, the manager did so in a condescending tone in addition to abruptly leaving to attend to something else. Upon receiving a sloppily made smoothie, 3 quarters full with the lid half off, I came to a realization: I have rarely seen employees I recognize from previous visits. This, of course, is to no one’s surprise based on the tone at which the manager talks to the teenage workers—all of which I assume are being underpaid. I sincerely hope this review is seen by the upper level management as a wake up call to treat your workers with respect. And while I do enjoy the food—the only thing keeping this rating above one star—I will not be coming back unless some systematic changes take place.

I can’t tell you how much I hate fast food. This place however, has me on the hook. I love love love the Baja Chicken wrap with sweet potatoes. And pick a smoothie. I go with the Avocolada. I will get down on this meal and not feel guilty at all. Service is usually pretty decent, but was a little less so this time around. I’ll still be back tho!

Mistakes happen and thats understandable, as Ive worked in restaurants. It is a demanding job working in this restaurant in particular and in my opinion they should have never added the drive thru as an ordering option. I walked in not too busy, used the restroom, and as soon as I sat down to look at the app I heard the employees saying theres “no more bacon”. Another lady was already waiting for her sandwich to get substituted for the bacon. I ordered the “carribean jerk chicken wrap” to go as I had not had it before, got back to my car, took 2 bites only to find out the rice was COLD! Ugh… So I go back in and try to exchange for another sandwich comparable to the price and chose my classic favorite “chipotle chicken club wrap” about $1 cheaper. They couldn’t refund any portion without a manager present and so I asked about a free cookie and the guy working the counter taking orders and making smoothies had no problem with that and was great at taking my order, my complaint and simply trying to get a newly made sandwich. The guy working there said he had only been there a month as I asked about any new sandwiches. A lady who spoke spanish was making all of the sandwiches at that time, there were only two employees there at that time when I first ordered. A newer employee (younger lady) showed up and was then helping make sandwiches but still learning the ingredients of each kind. The second sandwich I received as an exchange was very disappointing and after about 20 minutes of waiting when I was already starving, I walked back to my car to sit and I ate what appeared to be a “chicken bacon ranch” flatbread wrap with ranch dressing but received a cup of chipotle sauce in a container! In this flatbread wrap there obviously was NO bacon because the employees already knew they had no BACON and then the chicken was COLD! (but not ice cold) I only walked from the restaurant to my car as I was going to eat in the parking lot. There was a party of three people with sandwiches being made so I had to wait extra.
I spoke to the table next to me and one of those customers received just turkey and cheese on her sandwich when there was supposed to be tomatoes and lettuce at least but she did not want to deal with the hassle of an exchange:( It seemed at this point that the Spanish lady making the sandwiches was either not understanding basic things or not trying on how to make the sandwiches correctly. Still I’m not sure who would like cold rice on a wrap, that’s kind of a big mistake when everything else was hot! There was frustration between the employees that needs to be resolved for all of the customer’s sake. The other table I spoke with said their food was mostly just okay:/ I was just passing through the area this time, I hope a future visit will be better. The picture is of the second wrap with ranch, cold chicken and chipotle sauce on the side.

Great place and great service! The girls in there were fast and efficient, even though there was a bit of a rush before I was in there. And as always, the smoothies are amazing! They even warmed up my cookie for me.

Whoever is managing this restaurant is failing. Wouldn’t let my daughter eat the food. Didn’t trust the staff, who did not possess any professionalism.
