Not entirely sure what was happening here today. But, walked in was greeted to some kind of words from the back, 30 seconds later. There was cussing and banging coming from the kitchen area, something about “leave me the F-word alone” multiple times. Sounded like a dispute between two employees, and nothing significantly worse and though nothing about this was directed at me. Just honestly, not trying to stick around and see what drama was happening, so I left. Not the first unfortunate experience I have had at the North Myrtle Beach location, it is the first time I am leaving a review. Will not be returning to this NMB location.

Smoothie was made but left on the counter behind the register. There was nothing smooth about this smoothie. Ice and other ingredients were very coarse. I couldn’t even use the straw. Employees were out back smoking so I ended up walking behind the counter to grab my smoothie. I usually don’t have an issue with Tropical Smoothie Cafe.

i did a mobile order and got the PB cup smoothie and the SW wrap. It was ready to go when i arrived and was both made really good. If you sign up for the app you get points and every once in a while get a free smoothie with food purchase.

The Acai Bowls are decent / my only complaint is that charging $1.29 for peanut butter drizzle is ridiculous and a bit insulting honestly. I asked the employee to be generous with the peanut butter since they basically give you a tiny amount regardless of paying extra. I hope they learn from Playa Bowls and get better.

This is an absolutely fabulous location! The staff are so friendly and know the regulars on a first name basis. They treat everyone with utmost respect, from children to retired folks. Whether I am a customer or DoorDash driver, I am treated with the same amount of respect. My orders always taste amazing, are fresh, and are made accurately!

Even though it was busy the staff and our smoothies were amazing! Tanner was very upbeat and an absolute ray of sunshine! He never failed to make all the staff and customers smile and laugh which is very much needed during a rush. Amazing location!

I’ve never liked their smoothies because they taste powdery. My daughter asked me to pick up food from there so I decided to give them one more try – North Myrtle Beach. The kale salad is literally 2 teaspoons of yuck – we ordered 2…disappointed and trashed. The quesadilla was chewy like it had been microwaved – we ordered 3 – one was trashed immediately. Corn was literally 2 tablespoons.
I actually watched the server take one of the items out of a fridge, remove the top, and stick the plastic container in the microwave- DO NOT MICROWAVE PLASTIC.
Paid for a boost in my daughters smoothie- she said it was supposed to be green but they left it out – I didn’t know. $30 wasted – never again!!! I’ll drive 45 minutes from Calabash to Conway to get my Jamba

I went to this location the lobby was a little bit busier than usual. There was 2 workers but they both acted as if they had an attitude, one stayed in the back while the cashier tried to wait on and fix smoothies for about 10 different people. They both were more concerned on giving someone directions to some where in MB, I waited about 25 minutes and had to ask, how much longer for an acai bowl!!!!! You guys may need to hire more help or more training…..
