Very disappointed with the Boiling Springs, SC Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I placed an online order for smoothies, and when I arrived five minutes after receiving my notification, I found all three orders had been sitting for about 25 minutes. I only requested that my smoothies be remade, but I was told by staff (including a rude employee, Jess) that remaking them would cause too much product loss and was refused. I was offered the option of just adding ice. The smoothies ended up lacking flavor and were undesirable. This experience was frustrating, especially given the amount my family and I spend here. Customer service and quality were very disappointing, and I will not be returning.

The worker Kyon is amazing and made our smoothies so freaking good i almost cried. My wrap was absolutely immaculate and the sauces was the cherry on top. All of these workers need a significant raise, theyer all so nice and make my food so unbelievably delicious. 10/10 meal and i will come back very frequently. #takeallmymoney

This place is one of the best Tropical Smoothies I’ve ever been to. Upon entering, everyone greeted me and the young lady in the front helped me with any questions I had. They were on point and perfectly recommended the type of Smoothie that I might like (I loved it!!). I was a bit of a butter finger and dropped my smoothie, but they didnt mind making me a second and didnt charge me for it either (they offered before I even asked!!). I went to clean my hands and jeans a bit in the bathroom and it was spotless. I’m not sure what all the commotion is for some others, but my experience was warm and welcoming, and they even wished me well on the way out!!
And, in case it matters, there was no “bias” felt. I’m a brown woman too.

Yes, yes, yes! LOVE Tropical Smoothie. Was very glad when they added one just a few miles from my house. These young ladies are always happy and pleasant. Great smoothies as well as breakfast and lunch.

In the last month, I’ve placed an order online twice and picked it up in the drive thru. The first time the worker I dealt with was so wonderful, so kind. Order was right. Second time, order was right again. But the employee was SO rude right from the moment she opened the window. I’m super easy to get along with and impress but she immediately came at me with rudeness and never backed down from that attitude. Not the kind of person you want to have as the face of your business.

Staff is usually friendly, but the smoothie I get doesn’t taste as it should or recipe isn’t consistent. Smoothie tastes watered down and like ingredients are missing. I’m not sure if this location runs out or they’re being frugal but I started to drive the extra distance and have it at a different location who has it down every time. I did go to this location tonight and the drink again was a disappointment.

I always have a great experience there, but there seems to be a new person at At the pick up window today, she was quite rude and obnoxious from the moment she opened the window to the moment I pulled off. I’m sure her name was Daisha At least that’s what the spelling look like on her name tag. Definitely makes me feel like not returning to that store anymore.
