This is quite frankly the worst Tropical I’ve been to, and I come at least weekly and it’s never any better. My food is consistently wrong, or cooked terribly. I typically get the three cheese chicken quesadilla and on several occasions now I’ve had it barely cooked, with completely unmelted cheese given to me, to the latest time no chicken added. Every time I go im also the only one in there so it’s not like it’s busy. I’m not sure who trained the food team at this location but they should certainly all be redone.

Somebody needs to let the manager know that playing loud music with a ton of cussing (even if the vowels of the words are bleeped out… they leave in plenty of the word to know exactly what they’re saying), sexual references, and violence in the song does not exactly make a restaurant family friendly. Yes, it might be a slow night, but there could be a family that comes in at random with small children… or adults like me who just hate profane music, and it just ruins the atmosphere. Is this now deemed acceptable in restaurants? Bruh.

If I could give a zero star review instead I would. The location in Leland NC. I walk in, and stood at the counter for over 10 minutes waiting to order but none of the workers come. No one was inside but me. And 3 workers just stood around chatting with each other. Shit service. 11/6/25 @11:30

Ordered a custom wrap online & asked for no lettuce or pineapple salsa. Clearly was on the item. This happens every time I order this item. Don’t offer customizations if you’re not going to do them. I cannot speak with anyone over the phone to get a refund.

I’ve given this location numerous chances, and each time it’s been a frustrating experience. The last visit was the final straw. I tried to order a sandwich, but they were out of bread and cheese—seriously? So I took it in stride amd ordered a smoothie, and guess what? They were out of the main ingredients!
To top it off, the air conditioner was broken during my last visit, and it felt like stepping into a sauna at a sweltering hundred degrees. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a place that seems perpetually out of stock on essential items. It feels like every time I walk in, I’m greeted with a new excuse (credit machine down, no cheese, only one flavor of chips, no whey). If you’re looking for a reliable smoothie or sandwich, I recommend trying somewhere else. This place has become a constant letdown.

I ordered through DoorDash and got three of the same wraps, which were horribly made and missing ingredients. Wasn’t what I ordered at all. I requested for it to be remade and redelivered, and they cancelled my order resulting in me losing my money. Thankfully DoorDash support was able to process a refund for me, but this place has become a big disappointment.

I have never been so disappointed in an establishment. The food was ok. Not great. I am used to being greeted in such a nice manner by the Porters Neck location. Though, this establishment was one of the worst Tropical smoothies I’ve been to. I’m not sure if it was the manager or who she was, but she was rude, short, and rolled her eyes. Not to mention the way the other employees who looked like they could be in high-school were treated by her. This review is not to bash one individual at all. But simply to make aware of the behavior in this establishment.

Was picking up an online order. When I arrived, my smoothies were ready but not the food. After five minutes, I got my yogurt. About almost ten minutes later, a young man brought someone else food out and I asked how much longer for my two sandwiches because my smoothies were pretty melted. He walked behind the counter and asked one of the girls making food and she said loud enough for me to hear “they can just wait “
