Tropical Smoothie is one of my go-to spots. The place is clean, and the staff actually makes sure customers are taken care of. If your smoothie isn’t made right, they’ll remake it for you without giving you a hard time, which I really appreciate.
What sets them apart from other smoothie places is the quality. The smoothies actually taste good and healthier. You can tell they’re using real ingredients — fresh fruits and vegetables, spinach, and not just everything coming out of pre-made containers. It feels less artificial compared to some other smoothie chains.
Overall, good service, good smoothies, and a place that cares about getting your order right. I’d definitely recommend it.

I stopped by the Tropical Smoothie on Matthews Township Parkway on Tuesday, 3/18/25 around 4:30 PM, and had such a great experience! The young ladies working were so sweet and welcoming—it really made my visit feel special. I ordered the Peanut Paradise and it was absolutely delicious, perfectly blended and packed with flavor. Out of all the locations in the area, this one is definitely one of my favorites. Great service and tasty smoothies every time!

I order from here regularly as it is the closest to where I work but this is by far the worst location ive been to as far as quality. I either order pick up or delivery and on more than a few occasions they have got it wrong. Today, once again no bacon when it only says no cheese or ranch. There’s been several times the food is sub par…nasty lettuce, the top of the tomato, hardly any avocado or BROWN avocado, put cheese or ranch on it when it specifically says none etc. I think this did it for me at this location. I’ll drive farther to get better food from now on.

I placed the mobile order to be picked up at 2:50. I got here at 2: 47 and no welcome. But they did welcome all of the white people who came in. I listen to them called out multiple names. A small Indian girl completed my order but set it to the side. I stood at the counter as the three of them talked amongst themselves and did not turn around. She went to call another name and turned around to me. I asked for my order and she turned around and picked it up and handed it to me. No have a nice day like she did for the white customers. They literally have a cubicle for to go orders and I was waiting for them to either call my name or place it over there. I will not be back to this location.

I ordered a save and pair and found hair in my food while I was chewing. I immediately called to let them know and they said they would give me a refund a week had passed and I still hadn’t gotten it so I called again. They told me I was able to come in a get the refund. I came in and was told by the manager who was also very rude and disrespectful that she wouldn’t give me a full refund because I also had a smoothie but I threw it away out of fear since I found hair in my food why would I trust the smoothie. So I explained that to her so she then said okay I will give you a full refund but next time I won’t. Excuse me next time i shouldn’t even be in this situation bc they shouldn’t have hair in the food. When I told her that she started speaking in her language laughing while on the phone and having her headphones in. They also still didn’t even give me a full refund of what I paid it was a $1 off also non of the employees had hairnets or gloves on. I’m overly disappointed and dissatisfied with the way the manager handled this. Mind you when we were on the phone whoever I spoke too was very nice and apologetic and offered a FULL refund. Once she saw me and saw what I looked like her energy changed.

I had the triple berry oat smoothie along with a pesto chicken wrap because I told in order to redeem the $1.99 smoothie from the survey, I had to purchase a wrap or flatbread. Upon actually reading the survey, it does indeed state that. The young ladies were patient as they worked out how to put in the code to work. Taste wise, the wrap was good. I thought it lacked filling as it seems like it was very few ingredients to include pesto in the wrap. The smoothie was good too. I only go here when I go shopping at Costco. I don’t normally purchase food. Overall, it was good. I did notice prices went up on the posted menu for some of the smoothies.

One of the worst retail experiences I’ve had in a long time. The teenager working stood in the back talking to her friend while I waited for 5 minutes for her to appear when she finally did appear I just simply wanted to know if they sold bottles of water was turned into an epic ordeal that should have just been a smooth transaction. Can we get a grown up in this place?
