Absolutely horrendous — I ordered a jalapeño corn side and I received it as completely spoiled and rotten. I couldn’t even smell the side let alone eat it. The lettuce quality here is questionable and they didn’t even have one of my sides when I went early in the morning to pick up my order, which I had to replace. I have never at any point received straight spoiled or rotten food and this location managed to achieve that. Avoid this place at all costs.
EDIT: Just tried the kids smoothie lime and strawberry and I think these are old strawberries they used as well. I had one sip and there’s a rotten after taste. Holy crap. Worst absolute place I’ve ever been to.

I have been trying to eat more healthy and clean to avoid all the preservatives in foods and such and I love that tropical smoothie uses all fresh ingredients. However they are extremely over priced on certain things. I absolutely love there smoothies and they are not too badly priced. I wanted to try their Acia bowl since they are the only ones in town that have them. The bowl is $13.99 and I added goji berries and Caocao chips so the bowl was $16.99. Check out how small this thing is!!! Pay $15 at Ocean city for Acia bowls and they are 4 to 5 times the size of this. This is way way way too small for the price.

While I love tropical smoothie most of the time, this location has always been a disappointment in the food. It seems they always try to give as little as possible for what you order. I don’t like to write bad reviews, but after giving this place a try multiple times and every time having the same results I have to be honest.

Consistently good food and smoothies. Peanut butter cup or mocha madness is my go to. Better than other tropical smoothies in the area for sure! Employees have always been friendly and keep the store very clean.

After picking up my $65 order, I drove about 15 minutes home only to realize that there were multiple mistakes in our order. I called to talk about the situation. The guy who answered said he needed to “talk to his employee about it.” After a few moments on wait, he hung up. No one answered our subsequent attempts to call back.
I noticed the employees were in the adjacent Subway when I pulled up (Tropical Smoothie was empty), so I called the Subway multiple times, too. I’m convinced they’re under the same management because they screened my attempts to reach them, as well.

I’ve been here many times. The food is pretty good. Fruit and all of that is expensive, so I understand higher prices. I usually get the veggie hummus wrap, an avacolada smoothie, and an açaí bowl.

This is in response to the feedback in my review – I clearly stated the martinsburg location is top notch- the market st TS is what’s gone down hill- actually read the reviews before generically responding. As per the One star reviews clearly the feedback doesn’t mean anything because you’re doing nothing to provide about them for the market at location. I order this exact same smoothie every single day at the Martinsburg location and never have an issue. I was charged $11 for this watered down flavorless smoothie and when I had to ask for a napkin, they acted confused as they placed a cup on the counter that was dripping down the side. The color is off as well. Nothing about this location is good anymore. I’ve been twice in the last month and both times it’s been a disappointment

Didn’t give me the sides that comes with the sandwich cause according to the cashier i didn’t asked for it (I forgot that it comes with the side, and just realized it after paying and while waiting). I’ve been to other Tropical smoothie cafe before, this is the first that didn’t ask me what sides I’d like with my meal.
Then the chicken pesto was dry and tastes different. I had to throw it away. The detox green smoothie tastes like ice with a hint of pineapple. It was supposed to be healthy not icy.

I don’t like posting negative reviews – real businesses are impacted horribly by them – but this is a new level. 14.95 for a smoothie and a wrap. The wraps use to be fairly large – I’m fine paying for some quality. But this is minuscule, and arguably not in alignment with the standards.
It’s a shame. TS use to be a good value, and now it’s significantly overpriced for what you get.
