Considering that the acai bowls here are $13+, I would expect them to be made fresh. Today I was given a Bahama Mama bowl that looks like it had been sitting in a freezer overnight. The acai part was completely frozen solid, and the fruit, especially the pineapple, was gummy as if it had been sitting for a long time. I don’t know if I’ll ever be going back since it was so awful for such an expensive price. I would have asked for a refund if I had realized before I left. I’ll be trying superfoods cafe and market on Main Street in mt airy next time.

I can not for the life of me get in contact with anyone here. I’ve been calling for 3 days straight (44 calls as of now 4:23pm). I order 2 acai bowls the past 3 days every day via Uber Eats and they keep sending me whatever they feel like sending. I always get an acai bowl no chia seeds no coconut and they either send it with extra coconut and chia seeds or they send Nutellla and pineapple which I don’t ask for or put on my acai bowls, Uber Eats will not refund me and these are $32 orders each time so I am out $100 now. I have given them the benefit of the doubt 3 times the past 3 days and they’ve failed me. I think them not answering the phone despite the 44 calls and voicemails is what bothers me the most. I eat here 5 times out of the week but I will no longer give them my business anymore,

Acai bowl is inedible- in taste AND functionality. They gave me a solid block of frozen acai with stuff on top. It’s been sitting in direct sunlight for ten minutes now, in hopes of being able to take a bite without making MORE of a mess. Worst bowl I’ve ever had.

Natalie at this location is so rude and grumpy. I said good morning- no response. How are you? No response. I then asked if she spoke? She said nothing. Then threw my wrap and me and walked away. Lovely. Won’t be back and I suggest no one else go if Natalie is working.

I too frequent businesses where they only offer certain services online and then throw a huge fit when they don’t abide by their posted rules and regulations! 10/10 for the “Karen.” I’m here almost every other day and have never had a bad experience with these “young kids.”

The manager Pam offered the best costumer service. Pam made me the most delicious smoothie I have ever had.(Chocolate Covered Strawberry) not only was she kind to the employees but also to the costumers. When I walked in after having a bad dad she told me things will get better, and they did after I had one of her smoothies. Pam makes tropical more than a smoothie place. Pam makes tropical a loving home for costumers to enjoy her lovely smoothies.

The food and smoothies are Good but it would be great if the staff wore hair nets. They all tend to have long hair, and while it’s pulled back it does not keep hair from getting in to food.
