Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a great place to eat healthy however this location isn’t the best. I placed an order in person and the person who was making my bowl messed it up. They made it again. I have noticed most Tropical Smoothie Cafe have a standard dress code for their staff which is good but in this location, there was a guy that was wearing a grey tights bottoms, like the ones women wear to go to the gym. It wasn’t a pleasant experience to go through in this location. I would not recommend this precise location.

The food and smoothies here are great however, the young guy with the braces does not have good customer service skills at all !! He talks blatantly on the phone while servicing customers and he could careless about how to looks. I’ve been in here multiple times and every time I come in he’s on his phone. It’s rude and distasteful.. outside of that the place is great.

I ordered on the app in the morning and it said it would be ready by 7:12am. I got there at 7:26am and the doors were locked and no one was in there. I waited about 5 min then had to leave to go to work. I had already paid for my açaí bowl and wanted my money back. I called them 4 times and left a message and didn’t get a response all 4 times.

Here is my advice. If you are running a location that’s basically surrounded by alternatives, selling the same, arguably superior products you are selling.
Often when I attempt to use the app, and I submit an order it rarely goes through. It’s specifically with this location.
I assuming they decide to not take online order at specific times. Judging from other reviews this location does its own thing with their opening and closing times.
I recently went in person to just place an order. The guy seemed annoyed I didn’t place my order online.
Oh, and when you do order in person and pay with a card their tip prompt defaults to 15%, it does not allow you to tip nothing, which is also pretty sketchy.

I had a similar experience to what others have mentioned. One morning, I tried to order a smoothie—the place was open, but no one was inside. I waited about 10 minutes and eventually left. On my second visit, the cashier (a young male) was on the phone the entire time and acted like making our smoothies was a favor, not his job. On the bright side, the smoothies themselves were quite good.

Fernando H was the name of the employee during our visit, he was on the phone with someone the whole time, had one order on his screen and it took him a while to come help the line of customers in the store. no sense of urgency in his movements took 20 minutes to receive 1 wrap and 2 smoothies. As a manager of a quick service restaurant, he gave off that he did not want to be there, and had no intentions of moving any faster.
