Bad customer service, bad smoothie. Not even an actual smoothie. Cashier said all but 2 works and waited 5 min to be helped while it was empty. Smoothie consistency was like watered down. Very disappointed.

I am a big fan of Tropical’s Smoothie food and was very excited to visit the California location. Unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed by my experience.
The banana I was served was in unacceptable condition, which left me feeling offended and disillusioned. I had higher expectations for the quality of the products and attention to detail.
I sincerely hope the restaurant takes steps to improve the quality of their products and ensures a better experience for customers in the future.

I’m usually not one to complain and I visit this location often but today’s experience wasn’t pleasing. I always usually order the Chia Oatmeal Pudding bowl but today, it had a weird taste which was unusual. If I could describe the taste, it was more of like a sour taste as in the fruit was going bad. I got half way through my bowl and I kept experiencing the same sour taste, eventually I noticed something curled up on a piece of granola. As I broke the little pieces up, I noticed they were curled up and looked almost as little worms. As I went through my bowl, I found more of these which I’ve never seen before and I know what comes in the bowl. Totally DISGUSTING!

The staff in the evenings need to learn how to make bowls. Look how it is thrown together. Asked and paid for extra bananas…look what I got, a total of 7. Better yet, look at my daughter’s bowl. She only got 4. Tropical Smoothie you need to do better with employee training.

Anytime I place an order here, I have to double check it. The staff seem overwhelmed and indifferent, consequently orders are either made wrong, missing something or slow to be made. More importantly, it sucks when you place an order, receive it, drive all the way home and then find out that your sandwich wasn’t made as you ordered and paid for. This has happened on a few occasions this year, whether in-person or DoorDash it didn’t matter. So to the reader, I urge you to proceed with caution.

I live right next to this Tropical Smoothie location and I go there all the time, I’d say 1-2 times a week. The servers have always been very friendly and efficient. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait when it’s busy, but the food and smoothies are made fresh so I’m okay with that. My smoothies never seem like they’re watered down, and I guess I’m just not picky if a sandwich is cut a little messy or a salad isn’t arranged artfully; I”m going to eat it so it doesn’t have to be perfect.
