I come here every morning to get a smoothie not really a breakfast eater but the smoothies does it’s justice. It’s always nice and clean a friendly atmosphere and the employees are always nice and helpful. I see Yam almost everyday and soon as I come in he has a smile on his face and always greets me. He gives me different suggestions on which ones I should try next definitely 10/10 will visit again

Great food and smoothies, as well as a welcoming staff. This spot has great prices as well; you can add a smoothie to any purchase for just $5. They also have a solid rewards program! Don’t sleep on this place

Mainly for me and my guests we do the smoothies here rather than the bowls. But that’s just our preference. The two we gravitate to are the Mango Magic & the Chia Banana Boost. Both are pretty good.
The dining area was clean as well as the two unisex bathrooms (which is nice ). There are plenty of seats for multiple people and about 12 single barstool type chairs near the window. Which for an added plus, is that the sun isn’t directly into the window at 3pm right now.
Takeaway orders have their own shelves next to the counter. There are two cash registers for quicker in/out. The music overhead is a tad louder than I expected but this is probably because I was here by myself and only the employees

Our AAU team from Virginia went up to the Philly area for a tournament. On our second day, after our quarterfinal game, we went to the café. The manager there, Keke, was the sweetest person that I have ever met. She was telling us about how the acai bowls were 5 dollars that day and that if we won our next game and came back then we would get discounts on our smoothies if we went online and gave a customer service review on their website. After ordering and finishing our smoothies, right before we left, Keke came and gave us free samples of her own signature smoothie. I’m not only saying this because this is a review and I’m supposed to be judge-y and all that, but, MAN, that smoothie was THE BEST THING ON PLANET EARTH. It was that kind of addictive that you literally could not stop having another slurp of it. We left, and then won our semifinal game to later come back to the café. Keke and her crew were rooting for us, and counted on us to win the final. When we came back to get our discounted smoothies, the redeem code wasn’t working, and she deducted the dollar amount anyway (Tropical Smoothie Café, please give this girl a raise). We then went, won our final game by 3 points, and came back to surprise Keke with the trophy. She started tearing up and crying happy tears, and complementing us on winning. We then took a selfie and thanked her for everything that she had done for us.

We came as a basketball team between games. The manager, Keke gave us free smoothie samples, and a deal to get a smoothie about $10 off if we won. So, when we won the game we came back and got smoothies for $2 each. She took a pic with us and is cheering us on for championship game in an hour. We are from a few hours away, but if I’m in the area again I will definitely be back!

Once I was able to take a sip of my smoothie when I got back to work, I realized that it was barely blended. any sip I took the straw would get blocked by ice. I couldn’t even drink it. Disappointing and wasted my money as I ended up throwing it away.

Waited over 45 minutes for my food. They made the smoothies 30 minutes before my food was ready and they were melted and not good by the time i got back to work. Worst place to get food. Some lady waited over an hpur for her food.
