First time and most definitely the last time. Ordered through GrubHub on Sunday 03/09 (because my usual place was closed) so I decided to give this place a shot. I paid over $50 for 4 items, none of which was acceptable. Not one.
The dragon fruit bowl was a gross overly-sweetened mush. I had specified that I didn’t want granola in it, but it had a ton of oats or something similar. I couldn’t tell because it was a mush.
The acai bowl was frozen solid in the center, also overly-sweetened, and the “homemade granola” were chunks of Nature Valley bars.
Portion size and toppings for both bowls was offensively stingy. Both bases tasted like the frozen store-bought stuff.
As for the “wraps”, a wrap is typically the shape of a cylinder or a semi circle — but not here! The wraps were an absolute joke. I put my finger in the picture for reference.
The side salad was the insult added to injury. I’ve had samples at Pink Berry and Costco that were larger than the side salad. I honestly don’t know how they could send that to people and not feel embarrassed.
Quality, potion size, and flavor were the worst I’ve had. Never again.

The Acai bowls was good but then I ordered a kale side dish and it was the most pathetic amount I’ve seen from a big chain. I mean for $3 I got one spoon and it was gone. Not sure if this was prepacked or prepped at the store but tropical smoothie has to do better…or the franchisee who trained the workers

I had to take a moment to rave about the amazing customer service I consistently receive from Sophia and Lauren at Tropical Smoothie in Massapequa Park. Every visit is a pleasure thanks to their warm and welcoming personalities. They greet you with genuine smiles and always make you feel right at home. Not only are they friendly, but they also know the menu inside and out, which makes ordering so much easier. Whether it’s a busy rush or a quiet moment, they provide quick and efficient service.
It’s rare to walk into a place and be excited to see someone behind the counter, but with Sophia and Lauren, I genuinely look forward to it. I had a great time here with my wife. The cafe was clean, the staff were so nice, specifically Maddie and Cindy. I had to get their names before I left. I had a hard time choosing a smoothie and they helped me so much. They also made the smoothie and food super fast. Thank you so much to those girls

The food is pretty good but the customer service is terrible. Firstly it’s all kids, no adult management in sight so they’re just doing whatever they want. I have had 2 bad experiences there in a row less than a week apart from each other. Last week I order on the app for pick up and after 10-15 minutes I go in to get my food and it’s not on the shelf for pick up. I wait a bit longer for either someone to ask me what I was waiting for or to bring the food out. As I was waiting I could see a completed bag of food that looked like it could be my order. The girl making the food just let it sit there ignored while she worked around it. I finally got in line to talk to someone because I was being ignored while watching people who came in after me get their stuff. When I got to the front I said I’m here for pick up and pointed to the bag on the counter saying I think that’s mine. The girl asked my name then just glanced at the counter completely overlooking the full bag and told me it’s still being made please wait longer. I continue to wait while staring at the bag that is still being left alone. After another 10 minutes the girl finally checked the name on the bag I was staring at and realizes it is in fact mine. She says “sorry I thought you ordered a smoothie” I did not order a smoothie nor did I say that, she never asked my order she just said it as an excuse to justify blowing me off. I was late coming back to work because of this.
Then today I order from there again and while I didn’t have to wait for my food when I got back to work to eat my lunch I discovered there was no dressing for my salad…how do you forget that? It’s kind of important for a salad. I recommend putting an actual adult in charge

Correction-it was the Lindenhurst location, not the Massapequa. The issue has since been resolved. Thank you for your customer service support. I ordered the Santa Fe quesadilla and received chicken with cheese, onion, and tomato in my quesadilla. I ordered a peanut butter paradise, chipotle chicken club and Santa Fe quesadilla. It cost $28. Does this location raise the prices? I’m completely unsatisfied. The issue has since been resolved. Thank you for your customer service support.

When you get a smoothie, there is always leftover that gets thrown out.
She always would ask for thenleft over and was always given it.
Not bad, get a little extra for the $13.00 smoothie.
Went today and was told we don’t do that anymore…
Odd way to handle a customer for a product that gets poured down the drain.
Not great customer service considering it gets thrown away.

So I usually like tropical smoothie but this here is too much imagine you’re $10 smoothie is full of pieces of fruits and ice can’t even enjoy it through the straw btw this pic is only a bit of what was in my smoothie imagine each time you placed your order this is what you get I called them and told them it was not fair to customers that’s paying $10 for a smoothie and for this to always happen guess what they did nothing so here we are that was my last 10 with tropical goodbye
