Whoever cooked or prepared this oxtail needs to just start washing the dishes instead. Why are you guys serving undercooked oxtail with nothing but fat on it? Smh. For being one of the most expensive food on the menu, you guys have to make sure this is cooked and prepared properly.

The workers here are extremely careless, inconsiderate, and unorganized, especially the big tall guy.
I came in to pick up a mobile order at the estimated pickup time, and they hadn’t even started preparing the order until after I checked in with them. The tall guy, knowing that I was waiting, prepared the order, and just left it on the counter for someone else to pack. He couldn’t be bothered to just pack it himself, and didn’t even communicate with the other workers to pack it. He also wouldn’t make eye contact even if his life depended on it. I ended up standing there waiting on an order that’s also just sitting there, with no one paying attention that it needed to be packed. It was infuriating. Eventually, after getting a different worker’s attention, he packed it. As I was explaining this situation to him regarding the carelessness of the tall worker, he just kind of shrugged it off and didn’t seem motivated to do anything about it.
The lack of respect and consideration for people’s time speaks volumes.

We should support our own! The food here is delicious BUT why is Tropical Jerk Uniondale Front Street management so unkind to its employees. 2 people handling the Sunday crowd -one of the busiest days of the week? The young lady at the counter was graciously trying to take orders and pack ready orders at the same time! There were at least 15 people waiting for 30+ minutes! Management needs to show farmer respect to its employees and ITS CUSTOMERS!!! You have to do better!!!

I ordered Jerk chicken rice and peas and vegetables. The portion is too small, it’s should have been large but it’s medium serving, I spent almost $100. I called to make sure that they add sweet sauce and gravy because the food was coming all the way to Suffolk County all the way from Nassau County and the rice no gravy like how do you make that kind of mistake I don’t understand this. They have to pay more attention the chicken was a little burnt , you have to pay more attention the delivery alone with $15.everything is expensive and if you don’t serve the amount to satisfy your customers, you will lose your customers to a better restaurant please stop shorting people just to To cut corners And do right by your customers!!!

ANOTHER JAMAICAN RESTAURANT LOST ITS FLAVOR
This was one of the few restaurants I often visited in Hempstead Nassau County. However, it will be my last time until they find the right replacement for their cook, who is no longer with them. The customer service and food are horrible. My last visit two months ago the food was horrible rice everything tasted like it had gone bad. My 13 year old wouldn’t eat the food. Today, April 22, 2023, the young lady at the register needs training she’s too caught up running her mouth with the cooks and having an opinion of the customer. For twenty minutes, she had me waiting before she took my order. The cooks need to work on their skills because they are serving some raw meat up in there. The food is off tonight and almost 6 to 8 cooks, and the food doesn’t taste right. When you tried to say to them privately how it tastes, they wanted to make it public and insultive. Whoever the owner is, if you haven’t started losing customers, already start working on your employees’ customer relations. Also, a priority is to find the right cooks or those that are there to improve their skill.

I bought a large cow foot soup and came home and all the soup had in it was four big pieces of bones, one dumplin a piece of yam and three pieces of potato.

Jerk chicken here is great. I ordered the medium jerk chicken with cabbage, rice and beans with the oxtail gravy. The chicken might be a little spicy for some but It was delicious and very, very filling. The portion of chicken is great. For a little over 12 dollars this meal is certainly worth it.
