Welcome to the Philippines . It’s got the mom and pop vibe so you know the food is good. Service is friendly so be patient. They are very busy during their Sunday buffets. If you like stew you’re gonna love this food. Different flavors. Meat is cooked til extremely tender. Place is very nice. Food is excellent!

I have never had Filipino food before I had some from this restaurant. I ordered take out when I had this food. I had the egg rolls, pancit bihon guisado, and the bistek. All of them had very good flavor. Will most definitely be back to this restaurant.

My family & I frequently dine & carry out foods here. We have been patronizing this resto because we actually l❤️ve the foods! We are true-blooded Filipinos & we know how a truly delicious Filipino foods taste like. The atmosphere also brings out tropical vibes. As to service, well just like any other food business, sometimes it takes a while (during dine-in service) before you can have your food because they cook them after you place the order (w/c is totally understandable). For other people who are saying bad reviews about their food, well, most of them are already biased about Filipino foods before they even tasted the foods here. We always enjoy our foods here so we highly recommend Tropical Islands!

Absolutely the best! This is our favorite stop on road trips. It can be difficult to find filipino food outside of the city so Tropical Islands Cuisine is perfect. Everything is reasonably priced and I hear wonderful things about their Sunday buffet! This is my favorite place to go for pork sinigang ❤️

I travel to this area for work quite often and will always make it a point to stop here. The food is really good and the service is even better! The owners are so nice and treat you like family. You can tell how much love and passion go into the food. Everything I’ve tried on the menu is outstanding. You can’t go wrong with anything you order here!

Excellent hosts!!! The owners are very hands on, and really have a passion for their restaurant. Facility is very clean and welcoming. I’m not sure which I enjoyed more the owner/chef or the food. My wife is Filipina and gave the experience a big thumbs up.

The menu has a very large selection of Filipino food! There are vegetable and fish dishes as well. The owner personally asked us what to cook for us, very friendly and accommodating, told us what we could try.
We got the grilled stuffed mackerel in banana leaves, it comes with tasty sauce, and pork with veggies.
And an amazing ube smoothie, it was so delicious!

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I don’t understand why this has so many good reviews and it could be because I got them on a really bad day. I received their menu with my wife and most of the items we tried to pick were not available. It took quite awhile to make our food despite their only being three tables there. They were preparing for a catering event. I got the sausage, garlic rice with egg and it was a very small portion and it tasted like something I could make at home. The egg was overcooked and the rice simply just had garlic powder added to it. Portions are small and overpriced. We asked for two drinks and it took us so long to receive our drinks which were just two cans of soda. We eventually got someone to come out and give us our drinks eventually only to tell us that they were out of one of our drinks. Our waitress switched up on us and we ordered dessert. We waited for about thirty minutes for the dessert. We eventually had to call the waitress to our table to be tell her we haven’t received our dessert and she’s like “Oh, I thought we gave it to you”, so that took more time for some reason. We called a man over who appeared to be the owner to say we do not want our dessert anymore since we have been waiting for so long but he insisted he would bring it out to us. We insisted we would just get the check and leave. To my surprise, he brought out the dessert when he cashed us out, but it was not what we ordered. He took the dessert off the menu and then complained no one wants to work anymore. I’m sorry that’s the case but that isn’t my problem and for a restaurant to not be busy at all and have three staff, that service was unacceptable. He took the dessert off the receipt but the food we ordered was overpriced and we had to wait forever to receive it. We tried the dessert in the car and it has no flavor. Maybe go here when they do the buffet, but anything else…forget it.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is a little odd upon entering as the door opens to a store with empty shelves and no one in it, seeming more like a storage room. The restaurant itself is nice. Food on the buffet was all very tasty but quite cold although we went at an odd time (4pm). They don’t have a steam table to keep it warm. Will visit again but aim for a more popular time in the hopes that the food is hotter.
