Well recommended, good size of the portions and great flavors. The pork belly it was a little dry for my preference. The skewers delicious!

Delicious Filipino food , always buying their pork igado. Good location and lots of parking too in the back . Lots of frozen food and drinks to choose from as well..The only thing is the bread that they sell from a different supplier, spanish bread was super dry and so rough.

Delicious Filipino food in Bergen county. Clean location but unfortunately at the time due to Covid I was not able to dine in. There was so much selection of many dishes. The prices were affordable.

Update there is a dining area in the back of the store which is about 6-7 tables. There’s street parking for the establishment. The food is delicious and still affordable.

The Filipino cashier lady at the front has a passive aggressive attitude. 1 time she was laughing joking w another Filipino customer who was kinda weird. Then when it was our turn she was all bitchy vibes. As I was handing her my stuff so she wouldn’t have to reach, she just snatches it annoyedly. Like lady ur the front line for the business, practice some customer service. I worked in customer service myself and that was totally unnecessary and unacceptable. Whatever shit u got goin on, u don’t need to bring it to work esp in front of nice paying customers. Also their prices r a bit jacked up. Like for a tub of rice was almost $10 or more now who knows. Also I agree with another previous reviewer that their Spanish bread is mid, often dry. Their bbq sticks r good but often burnt.

A typical filipino restaurant in the sense that it’s a combination of a restaurant and store.

Food was good especially the bangus. The bangus was grilled perfectly and no bones at all. They have a lot of different entrees (ulam) to choose from. No chicken adobo but they had a chicken in coconut milk which was just as delicious. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and not too oily.

Service was good and they’re transparent about any upcharges. The beef dishes had a $1 upcharge. They do tell you right then and there vs a surprise at the register.

Prices were as expected and on par with other filipino restaurants.

They have seating and tables at the back of the restaurant but it is tiny and not suitable for large parties.

The restaurant was also very hot inside so can be uncomfortable to eat in. We took our food to go.

I am happy to see a filipino restaurant in the area and will be back.

What an amazing restaurant/shopping.

I always love to get Filipino food, especially coming from Tropical Hut. I walked inside and basically like a tiny supermarket with food, wow, it made me feel happy. I got my food and I have to say, this is a place worth coming back to after what I ate! The flavoring of how everything tasted was spectacular.

Service was good! Staff are very friendly and are working real hard to keep the food fresh and customer satisfaction to be positive, however, it is a bit complex for the staff to understand what you want to order as they might tend to get confused, but that is no issue.

Atmosphere was good as well! The sitting area is so cute. Very tiny area with quite literally 4 tables. Music in the background was definitely very fitting and gotta say, bathroom was solid clean, something to always make sure about restaurants

Overall, this restaurant was a solid 8/10. This is a place I would come back to for some more food again as it is clean and has some real good food, I wouldn’t have it as like a dinner, but maybe would have it as like a quick lunch to have and go but otherwise, I would definitely order from here again!

We catered 21 trays for my daughters first birthday party 8/8/23—- literally everyone was raving & drooling !!!!! Love love love this restaurant! I would 100%%%% recommend ! Also I wished the green beans were cut in the pancit, wasn’t really appropriate in a dish to share with plenty of people .

& a downside is they don’t deliver 🙁 but for sureeee worth the trip!

Grilled Pork belly bbq, calamari , caldereta, menudo, igado, beef steak, giniling, shrimp fried rice , sisig, pancit…

I really wanted to like this place but the food didn’t really do it for me. We stopped in on a Sunday at around 1. For $9.49, you can choose noodles or rice, and two dishes. You can only choose from the stewed items and none of the other things (i.e. lechon, fish, bbq items are all sold separately). I went with the pancit, which was very meh and salty, and soggy. It seemed to have been leftover. I had it with chicken adobo and some pork dish but both tasted very similar. Like the pancit, it was super salty. My husband chose garlic rice, which I didn’t know was an option. Had I known, I would have picked that, because that was good. I mean you can’t go wrong with garlic rice. He had beef, which was really dry. We also ordered a side of lumpia, which was cold and chewy.

Still looking for a go-to Filipino spot in North Jersey because this one wasn’t it.

Tip – there’s a parking lot around the back.

Masarap! Masarap means delicious! And every thing here is masarap!! Authentic Filipino food in Jersey!

Location: It is located in Maywood in NJ. The store is typical Filipino store which has display of all the food and you just (turo turo) point point all the food you want to order.

Service: they are very nice, I order here multiple times and still have the great Filipino hospitality.

Food: Everything was so delicious and good! You might order everything! My favorites are PORK or CHICKEN BARBECUE: omg this was the best! So delicious and smoky! They have good amount of meat on the stick! Very juicy inside! LECHON BELLY with PAELLA: you have to order in advance cause you can’t get this when you go in the store, the lechon is so crispy and tender inside. The paella was so good and a lot of seafood! EMBUTIDO: the embutido is good but you have to fry it first before you eat, it is way better that way. BILO BILO: omg my favorite Filipino snack, it is so creamy and a lot of glutinous rice! The sweet potato are very sweet too! BAKED BANGUS: boneless bangus with mayo and baked to goodness! So yummy we order usually 3 of this! PANSIT: the noodles was perfectly cooked and veggies are fresh. KUTSINTA: omg this is my favorite! Rice cake with coconut strings! So good. BUKO PANDAN: this is legit taste of buko pandan, sorry I don’t have a picture but this is a must!

Price rating: 6/10, very cheap! the price matches all the deliciousness! Not bad for all the goodness.

Well I have been here multiple times even though I live in NYC. We go here just to have their delicious food! Perfect for parties as well!
