We loved tropical grill but then they switched their chicken recently. They use to use white meat. Now they are using dark meat and we absolutely do not like dark meat. Husband had a bone in his bowl tonight. Bring back the white meat!

Me and my boyfriend went to tropical grille for my 1hr lunch break. Orderd 2 of the original bowl meals sat in line for 30 minutes then when we finally got to the window was only handed 1 meal. Politely told him it was supposed to be 2 and gave him the Money for the second meal.he gave me the meal and forgot the drink. I asked for the drink and when he gave it to me he said “make sure to leave a bad review” so now I am! Great food bad drive thru people! On my receipt the name of the boy was “Jude” but he was a nerdy white boy!

I tried the Southwest Bowl. Regular size was plenty. Add the jalapeno garlic sauce it’s amazing! Service was fast at the drive-thru. The only complaint I have… this was the first time I had eaten here, I asked about the sauces and was ignored. Thankfully, I went for the jalapeno garlic sauce and was happy with it.

I got the tropical chicken sandwich. It has ham, Swiss cheese and pickles on it. It was all very greasy. The fries were too salty to eat. The spicy sauce that was on the chicken was very oily and greasy, my phone screen is greasing up trying to type this. I should’ve gotten one of the rice bowls I guess since that’s what people rave about here.

Stopped in for late lunch. No one was in there so service was quick. Got the carne asada bowl ($18!) and the south of the border bowl ($12). The food was delicious! They have jalapeño sauce, mustard sauce, and garlic. What I liked best was depending on what mood you’re in you can completely change the taste of your meal. Will def be back.

I love this location! Glad Simpsonville has a tropical now! Always get great food and great service. The staff is always welcoming and it is clean. I ordered the tropical chicken sandwich and it was amazing! Definitely a 5 star place and a 5 star sandwich!

The amount of time it takes to get food is excessive, especially considering we did not pick up during peak hours. One meal didn’t have the requested sauce and the two extra that were paid for weren’t included. The sauce given is barely half full. The quality of this establishment continues to decline.

I was so excited they finally added shrimp as an option on the menu until I paid an additional $5.00 for less food. $13.50 for only 7 very small shrimp. The restaurant also seemed dirty and there were fly’s everywhere.
