This place is the worst restaurant I have been in a long time. The food was horrible. The fresh vegetables were old and looked like it was sitting for a long time and it was not even hot. My wife’s bowl was just as bad. The Pepsi machine was out of three drinks and the water was highly chlorinated. We could not even drink it. Once we got to the table it was dirty. The building lack maintenance. I would stay away from this place. The management or owner has no interest in their business. To make matters worse, the had scripture posted all over the restaurant, knowing the excellence in God and Christ, I do not understand why this is in such poor shape.

Recently they have made a change to their chicken and for someone who doesn’t like dark meat this is a huge no go for me now. Unsure if its a mix of breast and thigh or what but I find my self chewing on fatty pieces and picking through my chicken. This has happened twice in the last week I thought it was just a temporary thing. But once going back today it was confirmed this was the new and unfortunately just isn’t good especially knowing what was served for a long time.
I would atleast offer an option between breast and whatever else is now being served…

Ordered Togo at drive through at around 700 pm on a Sunday night. There was just a few people inside the business and only 1 car in front of me at drive thru and they had ordered well b4 I got there. Pulled in sat at drive thru speaker for 3 mins and no one said a word I finally said hello anyone there and a girl said hold on another 3 mins and she comes back what’s your order. 1 south of border bowl 2 burgers and fries . She hurriedly gives total no ty drive around nothing. Pull around wait another 5 mins at window as I watch them cover food bowls in tinfoil I guess out of lids, finally same worker younger redhead comes to window doesn’t confirm total just asks for card takes it 2 mins later opens window again gives card no receipt not even a offer. 5 more mins and she brings food hands it to me and at this point I’m irritated at her poor customer service and apparent disdain for her job and anyone around so I ask for my receipt she closes window then comes back hands it and then turns around closes window again no thanks have a good night nothing. I’ve been in service industry I know it’s not ideal at times. But I always put my best face forward and represented the company signing my paychecks to the best of my ability. The portion sizes have decreased and prices increased since they moved their location in easley and the service has been subpar since as well. The food is good but u have to deal with the poor attitude and 4 out of last 5 trips something on the order has been wrong. Sad bc I loved this place once. Gave it one more try 8/26/2025 still awful in all ways posted this to the tropical grille corporate( left message for call back on corporate email but don’t expect to hear back) My family and I visited your easley location 8/26/25 arrived placed order on kiosk for to go. Watched my burger and chicken sandwhich sit in the window for over 20 mins with the lid not even closed while the girl placed the south of the border bowl my husband order to the side I asked finaly 25 to 30 mins later for my status of food they realized it was all done and indeed gave me food that had been sitting in a window not under warmer for 20 mins I asked for manager his name was Blake refused to give his last name when I asked. He said im sorry but I cant help you. So basically we’re eatting cold food after seriously dissapointing crap service. We gave it another try after last disaster several several months ago. Guess two times means I wouldn’t go there again. Beware

Excellent food and very generous portions. We got 2 large bowls, to go. The South of the Boarder Bowl with sour cream & guacamole and the Cuban Bowl are both delicious. The manager was very helpful telling us about each dish. We will return soon!

1. Need to update menu pricing online to match in restaurant, AND post prices for all menu items in restaurant.
2. Match menu descriptions between online and restaurant – online says “ fresh seasoned” vegetables $1.99/side, not priced on board in restaurant, got the $4.99/side price only when asked why bill was so high – and vegetables were not fresh nor seasoned.
Good service, fast food atmosphere.

Had to see what all the hype was about. First, I want to say that I absolutely LOVE the fact that they have Bible scriptures posted. Secondly, they have plantains which I love as well, the manager gave me extra because the wait. The Garlic Cilantro sauce makes the bowl. I got the South of the Border bowl. My first time at TG. Will come again.

Tropical Grill at Easley is horrible. They give you the food full of mayo and grease. I could not eat the food they gave me. I have eating Cuban food all my life. This is not what Cuban food is. See photos and don’t waste your money at this location. Their morning staff is the worst ever. I went for lunch and never again. Go to Greenville downtown for good Cuban food.

Alert! Alert! Not only is the food righetously good, but the service is excellent! As a gluten avoider, it can be difficult to find goodness in the world, but with all the options and tastes available here its not even an issue. I love the sauces and the fried yucca, and especially there fried plantains! Thanks for the excellent nosh!

Menu says Family meal for family of 8 is $45.99… included in this price is 8 large sides… Any and all sides…I placed my order and the price was $59.00. I asked why and the cashier stated three of the sides are additional cost. ♂️??? 8 sides means 8 sides. No? This type of deceitful pricing is not beneficial and aggravating. Have a family meal and some integrity and keep the posted price the actual price. The cashier said people complain about this all the time but she can’t do anything about it. I’ve eaten the food several times and it’s quasi healthy and taste fairly good. However, I value clarity of pricing and integrity more then I do good food. For now I’ll go somewhere else until their pricing is clear, honest and transparent to all customers.
