The drawing board needs to be revisited for Stew peas. This is literally disgusting and unfavorable. Never have I ever had stew peas this bad or white in my life. As someone who loves stew peas I will not let this restaurant turn my mind against it. This is my second time ordering it and the first time I thought maybe they were having a bad day but after hearing several people saying the same and getting this the second time around, I’ll never make this mistake again. To top it off the white rice was soft like pudding. Not worth the money, I was so disgusted I ended up throwing it out. Crazy enough someone told me mine looks good compared to ones they’ve had.

Really really wanted to enjoy the large stew pork I just ordered but both the rice and meat are so salty! I don’t know if it’s the gravy, and because I asked them to put a lot of gravy on the rice- maybe that’s what’s making everything so salty. So after paying almost $30 to order and have it delivered, I’m disappointed :(. The delivery guy was the nicest. The cabbage is great. Decent portion. No fried plantains. But the salt on everything else is too much to be enjoyable. Plus I don’t mind it but if you’re not a fan of pepper, I’d advise you pick another menu item cause the spice was hot! Not sure if I’ll try here again.
Revising my review to 1 star since management has decided to be rude and label my review a “shakedown” because I am a Yelp Elite contributor. If I were you I WOULD NOT order here and waste your money. Management takes no accountability and quite frankly the food is bad.

I only went here because my friend told me about it but the owner is rude and the food is not even that good. They charge for extra gravy and have no customer service skills. If you want 10/10 authentic jamaican food with owners that are about their customers then go to Gealies on main st in orange and I promise you youll never come back here. Take my word

I don’t know the female name that always takes my order but I know who she is when I hear her voice because she is very polite compared to some of the other women in there. She never give attitude and she takes her time when it comes to repeating your order and making sure she got everything!! They are honestly the reason I keep coming back because customer service goes a long way and both does an amazing job at it!

10/10. The absolute best Jamaican food spot here in Jersey I’ve tried so far. The food is so well seasoned and I appreciate the good portion sizing for the price that is paid. I love the oxtails with rice and peas and the beef patties are a MUST buy. If I can, I’d probably eat from here 3 times a week. Thank you!

I wish I could give zero stars for this place. Did an order with DoorDash ordered curry goat, cabbage, rice and plantains.. they didn’t give me any plantains and I ordered a piece of carrot cake they send me some little piece but charging $8!!! if this is the slice of carrot cake they serving to people charging $8 they need to be shut down because this must be a joke.. to top it off I called to let them know about my missing plantains and the cake and the lady was rude and nasty hung up on me… I will never order from them again!!!!
