What I received in person looked nothing like online. The Rasta pasta looked like a hot mess & as a plantain lover, it wasn’t my favorite. While the flavor in the pasta is good, it’s rather mushy. The food seems like it’s cooked by a tired chef & not by love.

I recently ordered catering from this company, and everything was absolutely delicious! The food was fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly prepared. My guests couldn’t stop talking about how good everything tasted. The presentation was beautiful, and the portions were just right. On top of that, their customer service was friendly and professional from start to finish. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again for future events. Highly recommend!

My Husband wanted Caribbean Food so we googled and found this Restaurant. We wanted take out as we were on a road trip traveling home. The Restaurant had a nice atmosphere, neat and clean with a Carribean flare. The Owner and Hostess were very nice and accommodating. The Food is set up Buffet Style , you pick and choose your items. The price is determined by the weight of your food- so much per pound. There are several items on the Buffet , along with other side items not on the buffet ( beef patties, sandwiches, and desserts) We wanted to taste some of everything. We had Pelau, Cream Spinach, Plantains, Fried Cabbage, Mac and Cheese Pie, Green Beans, Chick Peas/Potatoes, Stewed Chicken, Jerk Shrimp, and the Jerk Chicken Sandwich. The Food was very good. It was flavorful, colorful , with the perfect amount of spices. We loaded 2 containers along with 2 sandwiches. Our price with taxes was $60 00. Well worth it.

Disappointed with my experience. I ordered shrimp roti (they didn’t have any) and was given goat roti instead. Since I don’t eat red meat, I couldn’t eat the food after waiting 45 minutes. I received a refund through uber and contacted Tropical Bites, but menu items shouldn’t be advertised if they can’t be fulfilled properly. I spoke with someone I believe was the manager, and the response felt more defensive than apologetic when I brought the issue to his attention.

I didn’t initially have the intention to order from this establishment. I was there to purchase a different item and decided to go in since it is Caribbean. I am very happy I did. I purchased a goat roti and it was delicious. It also was a big size. The owner was very nice. Next time I am in the area I will purchase from him again.

The food is nasty.

I ordered food on Uber eats. Oxtail plate was so greasy and unseasoned. They only gave me 2 oxtails to begin with and both were a disappointment. The rice and peas were not seasoned and had excess grease. They gave me one teaspoon of cabbage. And the plantains are just pitiful. Look at them. Probably the worst Jamaican food I’ve ever had. My chicken plate doesn’t look edible. That’s the photo you see here. I wouldn’t feed this to my dog. Look at how greasy those greens are. Threw it in the trash.

What a waste of money. If you are not going to serve food with passion, then just shut the place down. This is highway robbery.

I have never left a 1 star review- for any restaurant but I’m really upset. Imagine spending over $50 and you still go to bed by hungry. Not even hot sauce could have fixed this disaster. I really want my money back!

I went in there looking for a chicken Jamaican beef patty, but all they had was beef. I decided to try it anyway, and the guy who was checking me out told me that people constantly only get one and get very mad when they get home cause they don’t have another. Due to that recommendation I got 2 and he was absolutely right. normally I prefer chicken Jamaican beef patties, but this was the best beef patty I have ever had. I cannot wait to go back and buy three more.

I rarely publicly comment about restaurants but we ordered Jerk chicken with rice and beans, Caribbean stew oxtail with rice and beans from Tropical Bites through Uber Eats. The food was so irredeemably bad we had to throw it all out. Nothing tasted good or fresh, not the plantains, chicken, rice and beans, or cabbage. This was our first experience with the restaurant and what a let down this was. If you have taste buds, I wouldn’t recommend their food.

Please avoid this place. $54.00 for barley any food. I don’t think I’ve had such expensive inedible medieval perpetual stew food.. We had to return the food because no joke we couldn’t eat anything. In the past this place was amazing but idk what happened. When my partner went to return it she was meant with a very defensive man that almost didn’t want to give a refund luckily we got one. He wanted to say it was our opinion on the food, that he made it this morning and he usually doesn’t do refund unless there a nail or hair in the food. So long story short DONT GO HERE!! sadly

First time here and the food is decent. Lots of choices and some authentic Caribbean dishes, all weight by pound for $12.99. Some were flavorful and some were a little bland but it’s being catered to a variety of cultures so that’s understandable. While it’s not the best West Indian restaurant around, it is certainly worth the friendly service and made to order Roti when requested. If I’m in the area again, I would check it out again.
