Everytime I come to Miami for the past 10 years even if we dont stay in the Miami Beach area, we make the drive to come here. We found parking around the corner where the apartments and a hotel is that you have to pay for but it wasnt expensive. We love that they expanded and remodeled. I always get the pork chops and beef empanadas which I highly recommend also their milkshakes. I have gone here for breakfast and it is good. The price is great and large portions. Also if you like garlic try the garlic shrimp.

Tropical Beach Cafe – A True Hidden Gem in Miami!
We loved our experience here! The food is amazingly delicious, full of authentic Cuban flavor — and let’s talk about those portions… huge! Easily enough to share between two people (or even more, if you’re saving room for dessert ). The fried sweet plantains were caramelized to perfection, the main dishes were super cheesy and comforting, and everything came out hot and fresh.
The vibe is relaxed, local, and charming, with bright yellow walls, cute plants, and friendly service that made us feel at home. We especially appreciated the cozy atmosphere and the thoughtful touches, like the lavender pots on the tables and signs like “Life is better with cafecito & croquetitas” — so true!
Highly recommend if you’re looking for great value, flavorful Cuban comfort food, and a real Miami experience without tourist traps. We’ll be back!

A great option if you want a good and delicious breakwast. And served it with cuban coffee with milk and your day will become better. I had the whole breakwast, with everything, but there are plenty of combination possible. Very friendly staff, clean establishement, and right at main street. Enjoy!

I come here every day to get a fresh juice and the other day I decided to eat breakfast and I check my bank card. The server went ahead and added on an extra tip . after she already added gratitude on the check. The manager was very helpful and if this happened to, you just reported to the manager. I still enjoy eating here. They have great breakfast and fresh juice.
