The service was top notch and so was the food! I love how this is a family owned business. The owner and her sister take so much pride in what they do and it shows. I felt so welcome there. They even played happy birthday and brought out a treat for my friend’s birthday. And every. thing. was. delicious. From the Dominican Flag and Loaded Yuca Ball appetizers to the beef empanada, the guava egg rolls to the mofongo with shrimp and garlic sauce, everything was amazing. That’s rare these days. Just proves this place is a true gem!

It was a fun “island” experience. Lots of different flavors. They ran out of the pineapple vinegrette salad dressing, and there was no dressing on the salad. The Mofongu was interesting, but we would try something else next time. The Pina colodas were yummy. The guava egg rolls were delicious, too.

This place is a diamond in the rough with character and humanity.
Let me explain: The first time we visited (3 people) we were all so pleased with the food. We loved the atmosphere and the great feeling we felt when we visited.
Second time we visited: Everyone eats things differently. I ordered fried pork with tostones (fried green plantain). They serve it with mayo-ketchup which is great, but not for me (allergies). So I asked the server can you get me a mix of olive oil with garlic. She came back with some other mixture. Anyway I spoke to the owner and explained why I ordered what I ordered. I’ll leave it at that.
Third time I asked the owner to come and talk to me. I told her that we LOVE the food and this place and want to make it our favorite, and I made sure she was again aware of my allergies, not that I was being difficult. Let’s say that Diane/Diana is such a wonderful caring person and has a passion for her business and customers. That is why we gave them another opportunity. She is human, they’re a small business trying to balance the world.
Definitely a place to visit for AMAZING FOOD! Great prices too!

The service was great. The girls were friendly and fast. Not much in the way of outdoor seating but it was enough for me. Inside looks bright and fun. Bathrooms in good shape.
Food& Drinks were pretty good, little salty for me, definitely has own good unique taste. Island drink menu.

We tried this place for the first time and oh my gosh! It is fabulous! The empanadas were amazing- flavorful crust with tender chicken on the inside, and the drinks are something straight out of a fancy cocktail bar. We both had their bowls but I couldn’t wait to eat them so I didn’t get a picture. PLEASE try this place. The ingredients are fresh and leaving you feeling full and ready to take on the day. This is a summer time must eat at spot. I will be back!!! Lastly the service was friendly, eager and welcoming. They have great food and are passionate and ready to help with any questions you have.

Unbelievable Latin restaurant that you didn’t know was there! The service is really good, the atmosphere is comfortable – love all the vines crawling the walls and ceiling! The food is very traditional, wonderfully seasoned and BIG portions. My wife got a small rice bowl and I got the large, and really, we could have shared the large and walked away satisfied. Presentation of our meals was excellent – everything looked intentional, fresh and served at the proper temperature. Menu prices are fair and quite reasonable. Superb overall experience and we will definitely be back!!

This place is absolutely amazing! The service was incredible and very friendly, the food was amazing. Everything we ordered was absolutely perfect and I’m not over exaggerating! I’ve been to many different Latin restaurants in Ohio, NYC and other parts of the world and I’m not gonna lie to you, this was my favorite! Everything is seasoned perfectly, cooked perfectly and served beautifully with generous portions. The place itself is nicely decorated and they even have a photo wall you can take some nice pictures with your friends and family.
This is a very new place and wasn’t expecting much but I’m happy to say it was beyond expectations. If you’re new to Latin food and in the fence but looking to try something delicious and get your foot in the door, get the bacon wrapped chicken called “Gordon bleu” and build your bowl around that. Their pork (both varieties) were delicious as well, if you’re into that. So happy to have this place here in Broadview heights. Even if you live a distance, it’s worth the drive. We have had Tropical Bay at Market 42 and it was just as good, maybe even better! We love the food here, the pulled pork and chicken for the bowls hit the spot! Some of the best empanadas in Ohio! Stop here if you haven’t already!
