I had the Troop Classic Breakfast. I just had scrambled eggs with onions for my eggs. We were bummed that they had run out of cheddar biscuits but they replaced with their English muffin which were yummy! I also added the sausage. I am NOT a foodie by any means but I will tell you that the flavor profiles of everything on my plate had my taste buds celebrating. My food was amazing.
The music was a bit loud for my personal taste but I loved the artsy creative vibe.
All of the staff was super friendly and welcoming.
I would definitely recommend!

Went to grab some brunch with my family
the BAHN MI sandwich vegan is really good along with the eggs Benedict, the sausage sandwich, sandwiches and bacon and the eggs with the potatoes. There are a lot of potatoes unfortunately that they give you overpowers the whole meal so just ask for like a little bit but besides that the food is amazing it’s really really good

I loved everything about my experience. I was at Troop with my brother before a show at Fete. The ambience in Troop initially drew me in. The service, vibe, food, and staff were all excellent. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to visiting again.

The service and experience was great! Our waiter was awesome and brought the vibes. I was looking forward to an amazing food experience as well (I heard great things) but the food was really bland. I couldn’t finish it. I asked for to go boxes so I could try to spice it up at home and it was a no go for me. I would definitely go back for drinks!

Absolutely loved everything about this place. Can’t wait to return. Only negative I have is they were out of merch. I definitely wanted to buy a bunch. But seriously I will be back. All the way from Cape Cod, it’s that good.

Such an underrated place in Providence. Food and drinks were good, staff were friendly, and the vibes were great. Good music too. Would recommend making a reservation unless you don’t mind sitting at the bar.

The place is a 90’s vibe. We were sitting for 20 minutes before someone came to take our order. We waited 45 minutes for our food. Although the place was busy, no one came over to offer a drink, or explain the delay. Someone finally came to say the food would be out soon, ten minutes before the food arrived. It came luke warm. Home fries were dried, the omelet was cold, the cheese wasn’t melted. The side of French toast didn’t come with the order, they reordered it. It arrived after I finished my food. I sent it back. We complained about the food and service. The manager took care of the bill. Thank you for that.

Short version: This place has really wonderful food with plenty of new dishes for those trying something different and phenomenal classics. The service was great and timely and the atmosphere is really fun, progressive, and modern. Love this place, I will be back.
Long Version: I had a great experience at Troop, the wait staff was very kind and courteous and got us our drinks quickly. They then provided us a very good recommendation for an appetizer which I thought was delicious and came out very quickly. Other waiters were very nice and made sure we had everything we needed.
The food was wonderful. I got the beef stroganoff and it was phenomenal, very well made. After we got the ice cream cookie which was huge, big enough for me and my partner to share and it was great!
The atmosphere in Troop is very modern, with many hip hop references and really well made art on the walls. There’s a cozy waiting room and the music selection was really nice throughout the night with many popular rap and r&b artists.
I will absolutely come back to Troop, definitely a must for a night in Providence

A dope vibe with hood-like atmosphere, walls covered in art and graphics. The seating matches the theme of like a rock band rocking it out in a garage. Customer services is excellent. Always a cheerful welcome.
In fact, if the food was good, this be a regular spot. But unfortunately, the foods bad. Trust, I’ve waited to eat there for dinner once, and brunch two times hoping I could change my mind about it even if there was only one dish I could enjoy. Each time I’ve ordered something different too. AND I’ve ordered dessert. I swear, I was giving it all my best effort. I wanted to be able to make this a to go spot with friends. I actually invited a friend to meet me there and they turned it down telling me they didn’t like their food. They had no idea of my feelings. Another friend who had never been agreed to go. We did NOT talk about the food and since I legit only got two eggs and homies I was settled. She moved hers around and when asked if she’d like to take the rest home…yeah, you guessed it. I’ll go for a drink but that’s it.
