This place doesn’t follow basic food safety practice! We placed a takeout order- one burrito and a cheeseburger with fries. We live 10 minutes away. We got home and opened our containers to find that the fries melted the styrofoam container! Not only were they overcooked, they were unsafe to eat. I drove back and asked for a refund, only to be told that that no refunds could be issued without the manager, and the manager was not there. I spent $10 plus tax and tip for food that couldn’t be eaten. The cashier didn’t even offer to replace the food or do anything for the inconvenience. I left my phone number on the receipt, asking the manager to call to issue a refund. If the manager does not call me I will file a complaint about the food safety. We used to be regular patrons but if this is the quality they offer, we’re never going back.

So my son Nick is always ready to try new places. Trump on Buckingham was a real surprise. This is 10 pm. Saturday night. 3 tacos meal came with rice and beans. I tried the trompo, barbacoa, carne asada and added chorizo taco. I had heard that they served small tacos, like mini I thought. No way, these are regular size corn tortillas. My delicious tacos were well stuffed with meat. Like always my trompo tacos was only a four star possibly waiting too long on the skewer. Three of my other tacos we five star very hot and delicious. To my surprise my dish was served with onions and cilantro plus a half small onion that arrived sautéed on the grill and peeled magically soft and tenderlicous. Yes, Nick was a happy camper and I felt like a trip to a Brazilian restaurant. P.S. Some pretty girls really added to the enjoyment of Trompo.

Some of the best tacos in town! They don’t skimp out on the meat and it’s just so juicy and flavorful. The sopes and burritos are tasty as well. They always include a sufficient amount of utensils, napkins, salsa and plenty of sides. Reasonable prices and excellent take out services!

If I could give the food 10 stars, I would! The authentic, but not over-the-top flavors are just unmatched. I live an hour away but I have family in the area, and since discovering this place, I’ve made it a point to go there every time I’m in the area. At the risk of laying it on thick, I’ve actually found myself feeling really disappointed whenever we eat at other places with similar cuisine. Seriously, my new favorite restaurant!

The Trompo tacos had burnt meat on them, onions not grilled, and the hot sauce had the date of 6-22-25, I ask for another and this girl gave me another with 6-23-25, my husbands burrito had chards of foil where it was cut and the fryer was down so they didn’t have any fries and the worker said we could get a dessert and we said no just give us a refund and the girl told us she couldn’t do the refund back to the card and she would have to call the owner call us back. We won’t be going back.

Very good spot for a quick bite. They have a daily happy hour from three to six for Trompo tacos for a little over a dollar. Very friendly staff and grandma in back cooking. There is a real rotation trampo. Definitely give this place a try. Menudo available on the weekends.

Everything was delicious. Clean environment and easy to order and dine-in. Hispanic Music in the background, decent selection too.
Recommend the Bacon Burger (It’s a double patty) with Trompo. Decent price at $12+tax fries and drink included.
My other party members chose a Fajita Burrito and the other one got the 10 Trompo Tacos for $10
They have Taco Happy Hour from 3PM-6-PM Dollar Trompo Tacos any quantity. Trust me, you won’t be able to just “sample” them.
Their Trompo Bowl is also a meal I’ve been told is worth trying (I didn’t, but I will my next visit!)

A taco should be simple, savory, fresh, salsa should be spicy and flavorful. These guys nailed it! Been coming to this location for years, and it hits every time. Best part, the service is great and the prices dont break the bank.

If you’re in the mood for some tacos, you should stop by. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Order time was quick. They give big portions compared to other places. the food has a good taste. The salsa is enjoyable and complement the tacos. $5 for my food so the price is reasonable.
