Trafi is a newly opened Mediterranean restaurant located inside a hotel in Idaho Falls. We visited as a group of 14 people and had a reservation, so we were seated immediately, which was great.
However, the food wait time was quite long — around 40–50 minutes. The service felt slow, and unfortunately, when the food arrived, it wasn’t hot. That was a bit disappointing.
Overall, the experience was just okay — not bad, but not “wow” either. Hoping they improve the service speed and food temperature as they settle in since they’re newly opened.

The food was lovely! I’m so glad we finally have some Greek food in IF again My Mediterranean bowl was a perfect light lunch! We also enjoyed the view from the table to watch the geese and river walk area made for a relaxing meal. Will be back!

Thankful for this place because I was shocked IF didn’t have this type of food. Had a steak bowl. Steak was cooked perfect. Salad was perfect. Quinoa had hard chunks in it (maybe garlic) otherwise tasty. The desserts were subpar. Service was perfect. View was sublime.

The breakfast was amazing and awesome experience I had at the former Redds now called Trofi. Same great foods. Love it as I plan on more visits now. And yes I thought it was worth it. I’ll be back for more.

We went at a not busy time of day so service was really good. Everything we ate was really yummy. Its a bummer some people have not had the same experience. I am a big fan of Greek food and I thought it was great. It would be better if the lamb was cooked traditionally. The gyro and falafel sandwich were really good. The meze platter was super yummy. Tiropitakia was really good. We tried the baklava and olive oil cake, also yummy, not the best I’ve ever had but yummy. I would recommend this place to anyone. I’m glad there is something new and different to eat. Someone’s review was disappointed in a smaller menu and I feel like there was plenty of options. A big menu is almost a detriment, too much means its not all being cooked by a chef. Definitely give it a try!

Had the place to ourselves so I can’t speak to wait times, but the food was pretty good. Could they improve? Of course, we all can and their menu is a temporary starter menu. The tzatziki was wonderful and flavorful, the hummus was very good.
Service was quick and it was mentioned the cooks have gotten the hang of things, and it seemed to be true, everything seemed pretty well prepared.
I am glad to have a Greek restaurant here. I hope we can all support it over going to some lame chain restaurant.

We went to Trofi on a Monday around noon and had the entire restaurant to ourselves, so I can’t speak to the wait times others have mentioned. While the Shilo Inn itself is fairly run down, the restaurant has done a great job making the space work, similar to how Bees Knees functions well within an older hotel setting. The large windows at Trofi definitely help make the space feel more open and inviting.
The food was decent overall, but there’s definitely room for improvement in both flavor and portion size. I ordered the Mediterranean bowl, which was ok, but it wasn’t very full — maybe about half full, with roughly half a chicken breast, one scoop of rice, and lighter portions of everything else. The flavors were okay, but could be more developed and better balanced. My husband ordered the gyro, which we enjoyed, though it felt like it was missing some of the usual topping components you’d expect.
We’re genuinely glad to have a Mediterranean restaurant in Idaho Falls, and we want more local dining options like this to thrive. While there’s room for improvement in portions and flavor, we do recommend Trofi and plan to return, hoping things continue to improve as they settle in.

Great place with great owners. I’d recommend everyone come give this place a try. The food was amazing and worth the drive from Saint Anthony

Was really excited about a mediterranean place in town. Sadly, the menu is pathetic. I’ll chalk it up to new restaurant growing pains, but the food was sub par. Minimal flavor and seasonings. Not a sprig of parsley in the tabbouleh, dried and boring kebabs. Maybe they will straighten out the menu issues but unless they fix it, I think this place is heading to yet another closed ethnic restaurant in town.
