We had dinner here tonight for my mothers birthday and it was beyond exceptional. The food was incredible, amazing flavours and cooked to perfection. The desserts were to die for. In addition the service was perfect, it had a wonderful balance between formal and friendly, we felt so comfortable there. We will go back and we highly recommend.

This is one of the most average Michelin experience I have ever had. I tried multiple dishes however there was nothing special about the taste at all. The dishes were bland and no extra effort was made for any of the dishes to stand out. I tried the corn cheese tikki which was the only good thing I tried. However the kofta curry was basic, felt like any other restaurant, nothing special at all, the lamb curry was very bad, initially it was very rubbery and bland, when I complained, they changed it and got a more tender lamb curry with a lot of chilli, it was spicy but not special or something I would want to order again. The bread basket was also done so poorly, very bland and basic naans, paid 15£ for 3 naans and all of them so bad.

I have been to other restaurants of the same company like brigadiers and ambassador clubhouse and they stand out in every dish they served, they don’t have the Michelin star but the food is worth the guide. Inspite having the Michelin star I felt the food was very basic, like a cheap takeaway place. You do not expect a rubbery meat dish served at a Michelin star restaurant when you are paying so much.

The service also wasn’t extra ordinary, it was okay but didn’t feel pleasant. The water wasn’t refilled and nothing was offered for the bad start to the experience with the rubbery meat dish.

They really need to work upon their food.

The waitstaff and food at Trishna is incredible! I have never had flavors or dishes like those at Trishna, and I have been able to dine at higher-end Indian establishments in London. I would highly recommend Trishna to anyone looking for a special meal while in London!
The Festive Tasting menu was so tasty and great portions – scallops, salmon, lamb, and much more. The wine pairing was also exceptional.
The staff is so kind and really took care of me and my husband. We will be back!!

I have been to Trishna twice now and both times have been exceptional. The food itself focuses on southern Indian cuisine so think more of seafood and vegetarian cuisine. The seafood dishes for me are the highlights with a perfect balance of spices to accompany but not overwhelm the delicate fish. Honestly even the chops there which I wouldn’t normally associate associate with that type of cuisine were great (I personally think better than places like Ambassadors Clubhouse)

The staff are wonderful and the service is attentive without making you feel out of place.

Will definitely be back again and again… and maybe some more

We came here to celebrate our 2 year anniversary and were wowed by the menu here. It is so unique and geared towards coastal cuisine. The service was really good. We can highly recommend the morel and the chicken chops in starters. The kofta was really good as well. We need to come back here to try the rest of the menu. We were given complimentary dessert for celebration.

We had a fantastic experience at Trishna celebrating my wife’s birthday!

Service: From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel special. They greeted us with warm birthday wishes. A special thanks to Aneshwar, who went out of his way to accommodate our vegetarian preferences by modifying the weekday lunch set menu—it made the experience feel personal and inclusive. Call out to Preeta too for being extremely courteous through the meal. We were given fresh Plates & cutlery after every course, which added to the experience, since we didn’t mix dishes.

Food: The set menu was generous and filling, with a refined twist on Indian classics. Standouts included the aubergine vathakal, kofta, broccoli in tandoor and the unforgettable desserts—payesh and kheer, which were beautifully balanced and full of flavour.

Drinks: We’ve heard great things about their wine pairings, which are apparently excellent. Sadly, we didn’t get to try them this time—but definitely something to come back for.

The only slight downside was the Belu water being the only option at £3.50pp. It would be nice to have tap water offered as well.

All in all, a wonderful meal, exceptional service, and a warm, celebratory atmosphere. Highly recommended—especially for special occasions!

Excellent southern Indian food. Portions are very generous – you don’t need the prix fixe to get a good variety of flavours. The moral mushroom was phenomenal. Very attentive service – we never felt rushed. We said the place deserved a Michelin star only to realize upon leaving that it had just recently got one!

We celebrated Diwali and major achievements at the Michelin-starred Trishna, and it was truly magnificent. Every dish was a masterclass in coastal Indian cuisine.

Culinary Highlights

Our meal began with a refreshing Kiwi Nimbu Pani twist, followed by superb starters: the crispy Koliwada Squid and Shrimps, bright Aloo Chaat, and the outstanding Nandu Varival (masala fried soft-shell crab).

The mains were complex and vibrant. The delicate Hariyali Bream and rich Chicken Chop Ghee Roast were standouts. They were perfectly complemented by the comforting Chemmeen Muringa Theeyal and aromatic Cashew and Pepper Chicken curries.

We finished the celebration on a sweet note with the exquisite Chennar Payesh and Khubani ki Kheer, plus lovely, complimentary Masala Chocolate Truffles.

A memorable occasion that delighted everyone. Highly recommend Trishna for celebrating life’s best moments!

Never walked into a Michelin starred restaurant by mistake, so glad I did. Did the lunch special, which is a total bargain at 55£ for 4 dishes. Added the tandoori lamb shank, that was a great idea. The food was fabulous, service impeccable, and bill was way below what I would expect from a restaurant of this level. Definitely the highlight of my weekend.

This is an exceptional restaurant. My family and I enjoyed the lunch tasting menu, and every dish was outstanding. You certainly won’t leave hungry either as they don’t skimp on portions, which is rare for a Michelin-starred establishment. The décor and ambiance are also very pleasant, making it a truly enjoyable dining experience.
