Named after our Triplets, Trip’s Diner hopes to be a Not-Too-Fancy neighborhood restaurant that offers a variety of simple food. We serve All-Day Breakfast, plus Salads, Sandwiches, Meatloaf, Pasta, Chicken and More. Some of our recipes are passed down through generations of our family to the plates of our guests. It was also great that they have a kids’ menu. Our child has allergies, and it’s often difficult for us to find something suitable for her, but here it was very easy and convenient.
We stayed in Tampa for three days and ended up having breakfast here more than once. One morning we decided to try a different diner, but it was disappointing — that’s when we realized this one was definitely the best. So the next day we happily came back again.

One of our go to restaurants. Sometimes can be very busy with a wait.
Always friendly service and great good. I tried the St Petes Steak and cheese and it was delicious. My husband enjoyed the grouper dinner as well.

One of our Tampa favorites. The large home cooked meals are sure to satisfy any appetite! We have been coming here for years and have tried different things off the menu and have yet to find something we did not like. The service is fantastic and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Don’t forget to try one of the delicious cookies on the way out!

Great food and even better customer service. Get here early because there will be a line out the door. My wife got the shrimp and grits and easily cleaned her plate. I got the crab omelet and it was full of crab meat. Great brunch option on the weekends.

Sitting inside and out and definitely busy starting about 10:30 on sundays. Service was good and I enjoyed the food I had the chicken fried steak. Good gravy. Their outside seating had a nice shadding. The challenge they have when they get busy is that their expo line get so filled up with plates, they start stacking up. As long as the food comes out nice and hot.

Came here Friday 11/14 because the food looked so good in the reviews but had a not so great experience. We ordered 2 mimosas and one wasn’t filled to the top (which was fine) that luckily made the lipstick stain clearly visible. After looking at my boyfriend’s glass we noticed his was dirty with lip marks too. The server was definitely too busy while other workers were just standing around. We told her about the glasses and she didn’t apologize or hurry to get it taken care of, instead she was running doing other things for 5 minutes before we just decided to cancel the entire order after stewing on the fact that the glasses may not be the only dirty things and she did not seem concerned about it. We really wanted to love it.
