This is such a hidden gem here in the silver spring area, IT’S TOO GOOD! Their tortillas are hand made, none of those bagged tortillas. If you know you know, the tortillas makes or breaks the taste of tacos. They’re clean, you can see them cook the food in front of you. They’re polite. I called in my order and ordered 3 tacos carne asada, paid about $12.72. Their meat portion sizes are great! It definitely filled me up. Been coming here for a few years now and there’s not one single complaint every time I come! I hope they open up more locations, their tacos are delicious!

They are efficient, gracious and polite. Trippy Tacos has been a go-to truck for our festival-goers. Their food truck is always mobbed. This place was awesome. My boyfriend grew up in Ecuador and Honduras and agreed that it was some of the best Latin food he has had in a while! Super affordable and the woman taking our order (I’m assuming the owner) was so so nice and gave us recommendations! We got the Birria tacos, Revuelta pupusa and the Al pastor tacos. Our favorite was the birria because the consume was SO flavorful but everything was excellent! Will be back 🙂

I would absolutely recommend this place! The Freshness of literally Everything!! I tried Trippy Taco for the first time. I was pleasantly greeted as I walked in the lady said 1 second as she was taking a large order, so didn’t mind waiting. I sat on the bar stool while others sat, some stood then other ppl came in &out for 3 party Orders. The place was very colorful and welcoming , very manageable, the lady name was Vanesa! She was nice she let me try the Horchata which was THEE absolute BEST I’ve had!! & I’ve been several places for food & drinks like horchata!! & the Hibiscus Agua Fresca which I fell in love instantly!!soo refreshing. She suggested the half steak half chicken so I went with it!!…definitely pile on the Tortilla chips and the cheese sauce!!, they don’t skimp on the steak or the chicken!! this is definitely Big Bag Heaven in a box!! Lol… they load it up with Guac (which you can tell it’s VERY FRESH) sour cream, jalapeños (served cold so if you want hot food only ask for it on the side), cheese sauce, crema and whatever Meat/protein you chose!! . love they have the bar stools and their menu is not too much so it’s guaranteed your food will come out correctly. The Pupusas are made in house as well as I watched. Anyways I’d definitely come back here for whatever’s on the menu because the flavors were great and the steak was very tender and customer service! But those drinks!!! Bonus Win win!

Tried Trippy Tacos (food truck) while at a brewery in Kensington. The couple tacos sampled were made to order and pretty sure the tortillas were freshly made. A nice touch. Next will head on over to the brick and mortar location. Portions were standard as far as tacos are concerned. Salsa was good to. The staff were pleasant and informative. The food truck looked well maintained and clean. Recommendation Trippy Tacos and look forward to trying out the brick and mortar location.

I finally had the opportunity to try the nachos at Trippy Tacos, and they did not disappoint!
I’ve gone through just about everything else on their menu, but these nachos were a first.
They came loaded with guac, sour cream, cheese, and steak—just the perfect combo.
Service was quick, and the cashier was super friendly, which made the experience even better.
Honestly, they make a great addition to any meal you get here! I’ll definitely be adding these to my order next time I come back!

My family really likes TrippyTacos! We do the fiesta box on Tuesdays- all the tacos are fresh and yummy! The tamarindo and hibiscus drinks are flavorful. The staff is always happy and quick to serve!
