The cheese cannoli is a revelation! Who knew they could be delicious and filled with a delicate cheese sweetness instead of the usual ultrasweet sugar bomb. Any other place I would regret buying one. Here, I have repeatedly regretted only buying one!!

Tripoli Pizza on Broadway in Salisbury Beach is a coastal icon — the kind of place where a paper plate and a warm slice define summer. Family-run since the 1940s, Tripoli’s sweet-sauce pizza and signature square slices have been a staple for generations of beachgoers.
Its bright red awning and old-school counter are pure boardwalk nostalgia, usually packed with locals, tourists, and day-trippers grabbing a slice before heading back to the sand. The air smells like pizza dough, ocean salt, and suntan lotion — the unofficial scent of Salisbury in July.
Tripoli isn’t fancy, and that’s exactly the point. It’s a piece of New England beach history that still tastes exactly the way you remember it. #salisburybeach #tripolipizza #massachusettscoast #boardwalkfood #newenglandsummer

I grew up eating pizza from here and always love going back for a couple slices whenever I’m within 30 or so minutes away. Nice treat in the winter .

Has to be some of the best beach pizza I’ve ever tried. Sauce is so valid. It’s a sweet sensation and works really well with the cheese. It’s not crazy expensive either. Highly recommend this spot if you on Salisbury beach and are looking for a quick bite to eat. Overall 10/10

I have been coming to Tripoli in Salisbury for years. I am emphatic when staff are very busy and know that the pizza does get inconsistent. However, on three occasions in recent weeks the pizza I have received has been terrible. The more discouraging issue are the staff I interacted with in the last visit, with my family present. I showed a staff member the pizza I received and explained that this is poor quality, especially during a time when there were only a few customers. He was rude and said “well there is nothing I can do, don’t eat it”. So he started talking in another language other than English, even though he initially conversed with me in English.
A female employee came over while he was talking to another employee, in another language, and laughing. I could not believe this was the response from staff with my family present. The female staff member asked me what’s wrong. I showed her the pizza and the sparse amount of cheese and the crust burnt black on the bottom. She explained that this is our regular cheese pizza and explained if I wanted more cheese I should have gotten extra cheese. I politely explained to her that I have been coming to Tripoli Pizza for over 30 years between Lawrence, Salisbury, and more recently, in Methuen and Seabrook so I am a bit aware of a certain minimum standard of ingredients on Tripoli’s Pizza and I also know when pizza is burnt.
While this conversation is going on, the two male employees are laughing and being disrespectful. Growing up in a neighborhood when I was young near Tripoli’s in Lawerence, and all the years until recently, this behavior would never be acceptable from a business.
She explained there was nothing she could do and would not replace the pizza; never addressing her staff’s intentional rude behavior. At this point my family is anxious, and I was not going to escalate any further conversation during the employees behaviors.
I really hope that this event is address and some training and oversight is established because this is unacceptable behavior towards any person. We presented as customers, and a family with kids, just having an evening out at Salisbury beach and wanted to get some pizza.

Great tasting pizza spot right next to the beach! You basically pay for individual slices rather than a whole pizza. The pizza sauce is sweet, similar to Espresso Pizza. The crust is a bit on the bready side (which isn’t my preference), but overall, it tastes great! The cannolis were also really large, and the shells were nice and crispy.

The pizza is outrageously priced. Not to mention I placed an order for pick up because I was in a rush. The said come down, which I did. I had to wait about 20 minutes. Not a great experience.

The line was into the street ! Plus I have been coming here for years . Get a box of 8 and eat the whole box lol . So amazing that they give you exactly what they have been giving you for years ! Unchanged ! That’s what I want ! I just read some of the negative reviews . Maybe it’s hard to understand what they are trying to do . Maybe your mind can’t understand it but it’s not gonna be like a pizza you get every day from the market or local place . This is distinct to the area and if you don’t get it then don’t get it cause the locals love it ! Thank you Tripoli’s
