Triplett’s Bar is an awesome place to unwind at Penn State! The atmosphere is fun, relaxed, and welcoming — the perfect spot to grab a drink after a long day. Huge thanks to Michelle and Andy, the best bartenders around! Michelle is an amazing hostess who makes everyone feel right at home, and Andy mixes the most delicious Old Fashioned I’ve ever had. I ordered my Old Fashioned with Angle Envy. I was thinking it would be stronger but the taste was there.
Over all, place is clean, quiet and roomy with valet parking.
My old issue was my waitress/bar tender left once I received my drink and never returned.

A little noisy but then it is a bar . Good variety of flavorful food. The wings are a “must try”…tasty, moist and meaty. Have had all the menu items. All great. Nevertheless, it is the alcoholic beverages that they are most proficient. Just enjoy.

Grabbed dinner and drinks at the bar on a Friday night. The pasta was AMAZING and really hit the spot. But the bartender Andy was the real star. He helped me after noticing I hadn’t been served yet, recommended and made a spectacular cocktail, and was overall just an awesome server. He seems like a great team member, and I hope he knows his efforts are appreciated ✌️

This place js located inside the Nittang lion inn hotel. Casual but still nice restaurant. We started off with pretzel bites and wings. Both were pretty solid. I got a burger as my entree and it was great. Had a nice smoky charred flavor. Everyone else liked their food too. The server was very nice and helpful by answering all our questions about student life at Penn state. Definitely recommend this place .

Wow Andy was an amazing server, he kept the diet Pepsis flowing like no other. He whipped up those wings and made sure all the orders came out correct even though he didn’t write a single thing down. Super energetic and a great memory. He made excellent suggestions and made sure everyone had a smile on their face. Will definitely be coming back cause of Andy, what a great dining experience.

We have been coming to the Nittany Lion Inn every football season for a long time! We always stopped at Whiskers, now Triplett’s, for our first drink of the weekend. Make sure to visit Andy at the bar. He makes a mean drink and always remembers us, and the music, food and service is awesome. A great place, with lots of history. Kudos to the team that renovated the entire Inn.
