Best brisket I’ve had! The food was on point and everything is made in house. The kids were pbsessed with the hotdog octopus meals! I even snagged a quart of their homemade pickles to take home!

Everything is absolutely delicious, a must stop if you are passing through the area. The Brisket Melt is to die for and make sure you try the pickles on the side. This BBQ joint has it all, great Q, stellar service, and a down home ambiance. You will not be disappointed.

The place itself is very nice and upkept. Well the men’s bathroom has a huge section of drywall out but that is more than likely due to a recent repair. We arent from here but after reading all the great reviews it seemed like a for sure deal. When we were there were two other couples seated. Keep this in mind as no one else came in during this time. We got our drinks very quickly and being our first time we were looking over the menu, during this time our very young waitress was at the table next to ours for the next 30 min talking to a couple that started their conversation with who are you voting for? Really??? To which the waitress replied I’m only 17 and can’t but was this the end of the conversation, NOPE. For the next 20-30 min we had to listen to her and this older couple who might add was finished with their meals talk about the country and politics. Meanwhile we still haven’t gotten to order. Now I know taking to the customer is a part of waiting but not when you completely ignore other customers. Then we ordered in a few min she comes back to inform us they didn’t have chips for the nachos on the menu? The food was mediocre not bad at all but nothing special either. $6 for a small side of broccoli salad seemed a little excessive. We didn’t complain about anything and she did comp our drinks which was nice of her but shouldnt have been a reason to do so in the first place. The establishment itself looks Awesome .

My husband had seen this restaurant on TV and we were in the area visiting family so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it was not the hype that it had been made out to be. The Brisket Queso Dip was wonderful but the BBQ itself was pretty standard. I have had better BBQ at many other restaurants. We got three sides with our meal and the only one I was a fan of was the banana pudding. (which was delicious) They were definitely low staffed and the service suffered. It was okay but I would not make the drive from Princeton for it again.

We ordered an app and got it and then our food came before we could even finish the app… Then we got the pulled pork and chicken and brisket and it was very soft… Not taste… Was not happy… Kinda tastes like can meat…they did take it off our order but that’s because we didn’t eat much.. other than the fries and slaw… With much added salt…the cornbread was like a mini cupcake and was dry…need less to say we will not be eating there again! There was not table just for two…

We stopped in on our way to LBL for the weekend. I loved the food and atmosphere. The nachos could have had a little more shredded pork, but all in all great! If we ever ride back through I will definitely be stopping in again.

This place! I stopped here after visiting the Golden Pond Shooting Range. I will stop here everytime I am out that way from here on out. The staff are friendly and inviting, the atmosphere was clean and layed back with wonderful vibes. The food……boy where do I start? First off you must get there nachos, mouth watering delicious and you’ll want more even after you’ve filled up. And the BBQ tacos are so good you’ll want to slap yo momma!

Found this place by accident. Restaurant in a grain bin. So awesome! What a great find!!! Delicious homemade broccoli salad, brisket chili & pulled pork as good as Kalua pork! My husband has a beef sandwich called the Kansas City. Delicious. Great sweet tea that actually tastes like tea and not just sugar. Don’t miss this family owned jewel on your way north/ south. Very friendly, attentive service.

Its a hidden gem. It was kinda hard to find the entrance but I fell in love with the place, food and drinks. I ordered a margarita and they freshly squeezed the lemon which I love that. I ordered the loaded nachos and replaced the pork with brisket. The waiter was awesome and very friendly.
