Triola’s Kitchen was an amazing experience from start to finish. The valet was incredibly kind and quick, which set the tone for a great evening right away. The restaurant itself is very small and intimate, which makes it feel personal and welcoming—almost like you’re dining in a hidden neighborhood gem.

We started with the calamari and it was absolutely amazing. The portion is very generous though, so ordering it for two might actually be a bit excessive—but honestly it’s great value for the price. We ended up taking some to go and were happy to have the leftovers.

The burrata salad was a must. We split it between two people and it was the perfect portion to start the meal.

For our main dish we ordered the Pasta Salsiccie, and the portion size was huge. We split it between the two of us and still had plenty left over to take home. The flavors were fantastic and the pasta was cooked perfectly.

To finish, we had the key lime pie with a cappuccino. The pie tasted incredibly fresh and was the perfect light dessert to end the meal.

Overall, everything—from the service to the food to the atmosphere—was excellent. Triola’s Kitchen is now easily one of my top spots to go to in Houston, and I highly recommend checking it out.

Wonderful Valentine’s dinner tonight at one of Houston’s most unique Italian spots. The food was exceptional. Everything tasted authentically homemade with rich, flavorful sauces. Loved the BYOB policy; brought a 2019 Brunello that paired perfectly. The cozy ambiance felt like dining in an Italian home rather than a restaurant. Highly recommend for date night!

This I’d a destination restarant. The food is worth driving from lafayette, louisiana for me. I had the seafood lasagna. It was a true surprise. A mix of flavors that enticed me to eat way more than I should. It is worth the trip alone.
If you order the seared scallops, do your self a favor and taste all three components at the same time. It is a balanced dish. Trust the expertise of that great chef.
My wife had the lamb chops. I finally understand how good this cut can be. You owe it to yourself to try these.
The deserts are not an afterthought either. They are made with skill and care.

The Chef is so friendly and knowledgeable! He helped us pick wines to go with our separate dishes. See the weekly specials or order from the Scratch kitchen off the menu. For big parties upstairs or a date for 2 ❤️ reservations aren’t needed but welcomed. Thank you Chef and staff for making our impromptu date a lovely evening

I am so happy to have found this Houston treasure today! How have I not known about this amazing place before now?! We began with a fabulous Pinot Grigio, one that I had never tried and was absolutely delicious, followed by Calamari, Shrimp Azzarelli, and Misto Salad. Everything was absolutely magnificent, from the hospitality and service, to the presentation and portions, and to the deliciousness of the food. I just can’t say enough regarding how much we enjoyed it. I wish I could pick up this little treasure of a place and take it with me wherever I go. I just might be there every night working my way through the entire menu.

Hands down one of the best Italian spots in the city! Came across this hidden gem somehow. The setting is very nice. Lowkey spot tucked in the east side of the heights. The food was phenomenal and authentic. You could tell the owner really cared about his product. Will definitely be back!

I’m not even kidding nor AM I BEING PAID, this is the best restaurant i’ve been to in Houston. The chef comes out to personally greet you and take your order and I can not talk enough about the food itself. Omg. The. Best. Good. Ever. We got 3 course meal and ambiance was amazing and quiet. I haven’t even left the restaurant yet and I’m writing this, THATS HOW GOOD THIS PLACE IS. Absolutely incredible and I will be coming back as soon as possible. Thank you!!’

We stumbled across this place on accident and had the BEST experience ever! We arrived with a group of 13 and were quickly seated, the Chef stopped and spent a few minutes greeting us! All food had was mouth watering amazing and prepared fresh to order. The calamari is phenomenal, I had the Meg’s pasta which was to die for, and a few bites of the cheesecake because after all the goodness I was too stuffed to have more!! All others were extremely satisfied with their meals.
If you don’t go here you will be missing out!

First time trying this place and it will be in my rotation moving forward. The calamari was the most tender I’ve ever had. The papa’s mushrooms were a wonderful flavor bomb. I had the seafood lasagna for my entree and the portion was very generous and absolutely phenomenal. Chef/Owner Frank came by and chatted with us a bit. Great guy!

We stumbled upon this place by accident and glad we didn’t read some of the horrible the Google reviews or we would have missed out on an amazing meal with friends.

I’m not sure what people are expecting but the food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection… all the way from the meatballs to the key lime pie.

The wait staff was very attentive and friendly while ensuring that we enjoyed every moment.

The place is very intimate and cozy that makes for a great opportunity to really sit and chat without all of the extra “noise.”

I would highly recommend checking out this place and giving it a chance.
