The vegan broth is yummy, noodles are always on point (not sure if noodles are vegan though), and toppings are pretty good quality. I like the house made spicy sauce a lot. I always also get at least tamago, bok choy, and menma as extras. Toppings are served chilled btw.
Again, several of the toppings are oddly expensive for the topping portion sizes you get though; the pricing structure for that section of the menu seems pretty unbalanced. I feel like y’all would still make plennnnty of profit if you lowered the price by like 30-50 cents for, say, the tiny little pile of bean sprouts… or the tiny little piles of pickled ginger or radish… or the few little of slices of bok choy or fish cakes that you get…
Other—I have gotten the matcha milk tea a couple times and it’s good! One time they were out of boba but they made it look so magical anyway. The hot sake is always pleasant also. Matcha cheesecake was delicious. Service is very quick in general, and pleasant.
Music choices are… interesting Lots of 2000s-2010s pop throwbacks every time I’ve gone there. TVs are always showing some wild cooking shows that are fun to watch in case you get bored of your friends/date.
We had the takoyaki and karage. Honestly, the juiciest fried chicken I’ve ever had. Will be ordering each time. Also, the tonkotsu ramen (rich, nutty flavor) and Miso ramen (buttery and bursting with flavor) were just what you need on a cold day.
Plus, the atmosphere was astounding and super nostalgic if you’re an anime fan. The vibes were just warm, welcoming, and you could hear customers and staff singing or laughing. Such positive energy!
The takoyaki is very good, not overwhelming on the octopus taste. Definitely a bit doughy in ratio so may not be for everyone.
Good flavor on the vegetable curry, comes with plenty of side pieces. Broccoli could be cooked a bit longer, but that’s personal preference.
Decently marinate beef bulgogi and cooked onion, with pretty good kimchi.
Very light tonkotsu broth, well cooked noodle, okay flavor on the chashu but could use more
They let you customize your ramen and have vegan and vegetarian friendly options for many meals. I got ramen with their vegetarian broth, tofu, cabbage, pickled ginger, green onions and added lots of peppers to make it spicy (available on the table).
They also serve excellent alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. I got the passionfruit sawa.
A side of pork belly was the size of my thumb and half the cost of an entree. The miso unfortunately was from a packet and very likely not made in house.
The Boba tea drinks were DELICIOUS. Especially the passion fruit boba.
The base ramen bowl starts at 13.95. At that price point you choose your broth type, protein and whether you want cabbage and/or scallions. Any additional toppings are an extra charge which are priced on the menu. You can easily build a flavorful bowl for under $20.
The service is consistent and attentive.
There is plenty of parking in the large parking lot. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
