To start, I absolutely love the food from Trinis which is why we will often order catering for parties. Unfortunately, the last 3 times we have ordered catering, our order has been “lost”, was told I never placed it and this last time I was told I must have ordered from a different location. I have always ordered in advance and whoever takes my order says they will put it through with their manager who takes care of the catering orders. Obviously there is some sort of miscommunication then from the manager to the staff to prep the order. The first time, I had paid ahead of time because it was quite a large order for my daughters birthday party. Showed up and the kitchen staff had no order for me. They finally found the paper that had my written order on it and they proceeded to make it after I showed them that I had paid. I had to wait about 30-40 minutes for the order while my guests were showing up at my house without me or the food. I put it off as an honest mistake because these things happen. Unfortunately, it has now happened two more times with this last time being this past Friday. I’m so disappointed because like I said we love the food and our guests always rave about it but I can’t count on them to actually have my order ready.

Crazy good food. Not your traditional mexican but we like that sometimes!! Wifes favorite is the crispa. I love that grande burttio. All the meats are good that we have tried. Great flavors huge portions and always friendly staff. Go try Trinis.

I don’t normally post reviews on google but I had to say something here. TRINIS has THE BEST Mexican food north of south west Detroit!! We stumbled upon them one day looking for tamales on uber eats and have been hooked ever since! We order from here at least 2-3 times a week and everything we have tried is amazing! Everything is seasoned well, the chips and salsa are amazing, everything is always fresh! My favorites are their shrimp tacos, street tacos, and burritos but everything is delicious! All the negative reviews are insane to me because this place is amazing. We literally crave Trinis. They were closed for a few days and it was the biggest disappointment LOL. We are Trinis regulars for life!!

Fast and friendly service, tasty food. Everything was delicious. Soooo much food! Did the Pick 3 meal – beef burrito and beef tacos were amazing. Pork tamale was good, moist masa, not a ton of meat, but still tasted good.
Put a fork in me, I’m done. Needed a hammock for a siesta after this meal!

I ordered the Fajitas ,first try burnt meat.. black. 2nd try chicken had very little flavor and wasn’t the usual serving for 2 . (Been ordering these for years) The chicken was bland, dry and made me gag. Inedible, they apologized and offered to remake 3rd time. No way was I doing that.
This was a complete waste of a tip & $40 dollars.
I also ordered enchiladas.. zero sauce, never had a dry Enchilada before let alone one with a crispy shell.

One of the very best we’ve had anywhere in the Detroit Metro area! Crunchy tacos were fantastic (the homemade tortillas and tortilla chips are top notch)! Chicken quesadilla was excellent! Beans & rice were a star if the show! Highly recommended for sure and we will be back!
